I have a 14 plus year old Pekingese that is a puppy mill rescue. She has always had a bad back that required surgery at the age of 3. As she ages, she has issues with her hind legs that requires long term use of prescription medications. I have been using this product for about 3 weeks now. I waited to review it to truely see if it helped her. I believe it has. She's not back to being a puppy, but she is much more active. She went from sleeping most of the day and me shaving to bring her food abd treats to her. She just got up to use the potty pads. She now meets us in the kitchen and at the kitchen table for her meals and treats. It's amazing that she is on her hind legs now and walking almost normally. She still has some weakness on her worse right leg, but she has genetic and surgical issues with her entire back and hind legs. I would recommend trying this for your furbabies. I has helped mine. I’ve been using Vital Pet Life Green Lipped Mussel & Krill Powder for my older dog for a few weeks now — and I honestly couldn’t be more pleased. The powder mixes easily into his food (which makes mealtime a breeze), and he seems a lot more comfortable getting up, climbing stairs, and lying down without stiffness. I like that the formula is simple and natural: green-lipped mussel, krill, collagen, alfalfa and flax — no fillers or unnecessary additives. The combination of mussel and krill gives him valuable omega-3s, natural joint-supporting compounds, and inflammation. Most importantly, I see a difference in his energy and mobility. He’s more playful, moves with more ease, and seems happier overall — especially for a senior dog prone to stiffness. My 10 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback has started to have more issues with mobility in his back legs and trouble with getting on and off furniture, and I recognized several ingredients in this product that were also in some of the other supplements his vet recommended at his last checkup. This is in a powder form, so it is easily added to the top of his food during mealtime, and he seems to be more than happy with the flavor. I know it will take a few weeks to notice full results, but I do think it’s been helping him in at least the past few days.

We have tried in the past that he has not seemed to like. He seems to be walking and running like his happy self. My only small complaint which I can get over because this is good for my dog is that it is very smelly but heck who cares when it helps our doggies body.

This is a great concept. Well I love the idea of just being able to sprinkle it on my cat’s food It doesn’t work that way in my house in real life. I have four senior cats, so I tried sprinkling it on their food. Ta-da that would be it. Not quite. It’s severely upset one of my cats stomach. And since they all eat from the same time release bow, I wasn’t absolutely sure which one it was. So I made a suspension with the powder and gave it to the two cats that I know had the most issues they couldn’t stomach it either so after much trying and failing, I’m not going to finish using this product. I cannot speak well to efficacy because I couldn’t get it in to my cats for a long enough period of time they simply couldn’t stomach it.

She tried the Vital Hip+Joint supplement a few times, but each time walked away from her dinner looking a bit disgusted. The product has a very distinct smell, I would recommend blending it with something quite flavorful to hide it.

I’m honestly shocked by how much my dog loves the Vital Pet Life Green Lipped Mussel & Krill Powder Mobility Supplement! I fully expected to have to hide it in her food, but no… every time I open a pouch she gets the zoomies and begs for her meal like a pup. It’s adorable! Aside from her excitement for mealtime, I love knowing this supports her senior joints and mobility. She has osteoarthritis and I’ve had her on joint supplements since she was 6 and this is an absolute winner. I’ll definitely keep buying this and adding it to her food in hopes she keeps reverse-aging!

I’m wasn’t sure the powder would be accepted as a suitable topper on the food so I only used a small amount as a taste test. One of my dogs has a tick borne disease and was treated for it but has a little hitch in her giddyup. She loved this product and she is a very picky eater! Time will tell if this is going to make a difference but the biggest hurdle was if she would actually eat it. Love the ingredients and all have shown to be a game changer in joint health pet studies.

The box contains individual packets and they have a very strong fishy odor too upon opening. Charlie seems a tad more springy in his movement and certainly likes the flavor

It’s individually in a packet which is easy for traveling with it. It does have a strong fishy odor which my senior doesn’t mind. Every dog is different. It works for mine but it may not work for yours.
