This package of probiotics came right at the right time for my little dogs. They often have upset tummies and I was anxious to try this for them. The powder is packaged in convenient individual one dose powder packets. Admittedly, it is a lot of powder for a 4 lb chihuahua. However, it smells appetizing and when mixed with baby food, it wasn't bad. They were willing to eat it if it was well mixed in a dilution where they could not taste it much. It did seem to settle their tummies and I would definitely recommend trying it if younhave a dog that may benefit. It has pre, pro, ans postbiitics. Very high quality supplement for your dog.

It’s hard to say exactly if I’m seeing benefits or not. But after having a dog diagnosed with lymes disease, and another have a traumatic injury requiring multiple antibiotics, I wanted to get a probiotic to make sure their gut health was intact. The vet told me not to use the human probiotics we had on hand. This seemed fairly simple. I just empty a pack of the powder on top of their food in the evening. They love this stuff! I expected them to be indifferent and maybe even put off a bit, but they actually look for the packet now. After a few days one of my dogs had diarrhea for a day or so. But she’s back to normal now. Would definitely recommend if your dog has had antibiotics for any reason.

My dog came from a bad situation and has always had stomach issues. I started her on another probiotic but decided to try this brand. This powder includes pre and probiotics which is fantastic. It also has a smell and taste that my dog enjoys. I sprinkle the powder over her chicken/wet food and have no issues with her eating it. I have noticed a change in her consistency since we have switched and will continue with this brand. Highly recommend

What stood out immediately is how easy it is to use — the powder comes in individual packets that you simply sprinkle on his food, so there’s no messing around with tablets or sticky chews. Didn’t help with gassy belies.
I tried this probiotic with my two heelers. I was hoping it help with some gassy issues. I haven’t noticed any difference. They are pretty regular with their bowels

It didn’t cause any issues and I didn’t notice any changes either so it’s a 50/50 for me. I don’t think I would use it again unless my dogs were having stomach problems other than gas.
Great product but not for extreme picky eaters
Added this probiotic supplement to both of my dogs food in the morning. I have that’s a picky eater and he kinda tried to eat around it, where the other licked it

Maybe with time my picky eater would eat it as he has done the same thing in the past with other supplements. Also it’s a powder so I think with a picky dog, if you wet the food so it sticks rather than falling to the bottom of the bowl, that would help get a picky eater to want to eat it.

I do, however, like the individual packets. I haven’t used any other probiotics so I can’t compare Vital to another brand.
Settles an upset stomach with ease
Vital probiotic came at just the right time. Our dog came home from a weeks visit at our daughter’s and she had an upset stomach and also didn’t feel up to eating
