After scraping calcium off our pets plastic bowl for the last time trying to get it clean enough to drink out of, we went with stainless steel. We have the small version of this fountain and are very happy with it so far so got the bigger version for all the critters. so far everyone seems to like it. Love the fact that the water level is easy to see and not too bright. hoping it works for a long time to come.

We have one for our cat, dog. I also gave one to our neighbor for her dog & another friend for his kitten. All of them have increased their water intake. Also the kitten thinks it's a toy & tries to outsmart the sensor that starts the fountain so she drinks alot.
