Was excited to get big bag of seed to feed the birds & squirrels in the winter. I put out in hanging feeders and ground feeders and it’s been sitting out there for

Was excited to get big bag of seed to feed the birds & squirrels in the winter. I put out in hanging feeders and ground feeders and it’s been sitting out there for a week. Today I put out black oil sunflower seeds and it was gone in no time. I really wanted something that wasn’t so messy but I will just have to stick to the messy black oil sunflower seeds. I’m not sure if I got a bad batch/old etc as many of the other reviews are positive and that is why I purchased in the first place, I would give zero stars but the lowest I can give is one .

I used to buy from Wild Birds Unlimited but tried this to save money. Back to WBU i go:(. The birds absolutely will not eat it at three different feeders. The bag has a check in the “coarse “ box vs. other options including “premium blend” and “fine”. Im guessing birds cant crack in to it??

On the product, it states Wagners sunflower kernels, as to what we received was Wagners sunflower chips, and it is the full sunflower seed, instead.

not the old Warner’s sunflower seeds!

These seeds are smaller and almost white - look more like safflower seeds. They look more “processed”. I will reserve judgment until I am sure the birds and squirrels

Most birds won't eat it

I agree with another reviewer who stated this doesn't look like sunflower seeds. Color, smell & shape seems off. Big waste of money to have it end up on the ground
