Worked well while it lasted. Only used it every few months and took good care of it. But batteries started to fade and now the charging dock doesn’t work at all. I’ve tried cleaning contact points like manual says. The set was getting worse with time but now it is unusable.
I purchased these clippers to cut my maltipoo’s hair. The top piece regularly fell off, even after I snapped it back into place, so I gave up and started getting him professionally groomed. Now, the batteries no longer charge at all. Total waste of money; I’ll have to throw it out.
This came highly recommended to me. I question if the clipper is defective. The batteries (I received 2) cut in and out and flash, even after charging for hours. I would return if I hadn’t missed the 1 yr warranty.
The only criticism I have is that there was no way for me to adjust the clippers that wouldn’t cut my dog’s hair so short. Even the attachments didn’t help.
Purchased this after having an Otter A5 for many years. First the switch failed, had to hold switch to keep running. Then the 2 body halves came apart. Absolutely do not buy this. High price point and won't last. Just beyond the 1 year warranty
I had an old pair of inexpensive clippers I bought that cost about a quarter of what these do that never did a good job. I always assumed I was doing something wrong, but I recently adopted a long-haired senior cat who has difficulty keeping herself clean. I tried my old clippers but they just weren't getting the job done so I decided to splurge and buy these, partly because I loved that they were battery powered, which my old ones weren't. Well, it's like night and day! These glide over her body and the fur just seems to melt away. (Okay, it falls on the blanket, but still.) I wish I'd bought these years ago. Now if I could just teach her to cut her own hair!
Just received this clipper and so far I love it. Still used my old corded Andis clipper for the majority of my goldendoodles’ bodies, but loved having this for the belly, armpits, face, etc. it worked really well and while I did have to switch to the 2nd battery, it lasted long enough to complete two standard doodles!
This trimmer is terrible. The battery can't make it through half of my dogs short hair and the top keeps falling off.
I received this unit and after charging both batteries before use the trimmer would cut out just cutting through hair. I'm not sure if I received a bad batch of batteries but this clipper sounded mostly dead on full charge. I will definitely be returning this.
Broken after one year nine months use. Quite heavy. Not versatile in hard to cut areas like between pads.
