Good quality

I previously owned a set of Wahl cordless clippers and they bit the dust. This was my replacement pair and I love these even more. Very quiet and durable and awesome

I previously owned a set of Wahl cordless clippers and they bit the dust. This was my replacement pair and I love these even more. Very quiet and durable and awesome to have two batteries. Makes it easy so I can just go into the stall and clip the horses.

I had a problem with the blade clip

I like the weight and efficiency, but after clipping 2 horses and removing the blade to clean out fur several times, I removed the blade again and then the "clip"

I like the weight and efficiency, but after clipping 2 horses and removing the blade to clean out fur several times, I removed the blade again and then the "clip" would not open to put the blade back. Chewy replaced it with a new clipper. I hope the new one works better than the first

These Wahl KM Supera clippers seem to be very well made. They are sturdy and fit comfortably in my hand. These clippers are easy to use anywhere in the barn since they are battery powered. They come with two batteries and a charging station. The LED lights are big and bright and easy to see the battery level. The clippers are quiet and do not bother my horse, but I wouldn't call them whisper quiet. Overall, they are easy to handle and use.

These are clippers are lightweight, quiet and surprisingly powerful. The clippers are cordless and come with two rechargeable batteries and a charging dock. While charging, the batteries have a light to show where they are in the charging process. It is so convenient to have two batteries so you don't have to worry about running out of power. The clippers glide right through the thickest of manes without issue. Using these made the chore of clipping an impatient Fjord's thick mane so much easier. These are the highest quality clippers I have ever used!

PROS: *Good grip size & shaped for the average sized hand. Comfortable & easy for those with arthritis *Cut & trimmed very well on a thick mane and is precise all

PROS: *Good grip size & shaped for the average sized hand. Comfortable & easy for those with arthritis *Cut & trimmed very well on a thick mane and is precise all the way down to the cutting of the fine little winter hairs surrounding the mane itself. *Blades don’t clog like some other brands do. This makes clipping easier & quicker so you don’t have to keep stopping to clean the hair out of the blades. *The motor was louder than I anticipated, but not overly surprised given the bigger size. *Two speeds is very nice to have on these! *Having two battery packs is great. One to use, one to have as a backup for those larger & longer jobs. *Easy to charge & the wait time is not long. *Very easy to clean. *The charging base is convenient & also handy to have sitting on a shelf or countertop where it's safe. *These clippers were a perfect size to hold on to while managing a jumpy, impatient horse & holding the clippers still. They weren't slippery or too slim to grip. *My ear-shy horse (who took 3 years to desensitize to clippers in general) didn’t mind the louder noise though he didn't like the stronger motor vibration when I tried to clip under his jaw and head, even at the lowest speed. *Using the lower speed, clipping the thick bridle path of his mane, it cut smooth and easy, not choppy or clogging. CONS: *No blade guard. A blade guard would've been nice on this model due to the blades protruding a little further out on the width. I like to protect my blades & keep them clean when not in use. I was surprised there wasn’t one provided. *A carrying case or one that could contain all of the cords, charger, oil, brush & battery packs would've been nice to protect & store the numerous pieces neatly in one place. I rated these clippers 4 stars because of the lack of blade guard & protective case, as well as the unexpected louder motor vibration.

The Wahl Supera Equine clipper is a handy tool. It was fully charged in 20 minutes, and it kept its charge even when used several times in frigid temperatures. The blade is wide and cuts a clean swath on the dense manes of our draft horses to create bridle paths. The clipper sound is quiet and didn’t startle even our anxious mare. The clipper needs to be oiled every 15 minutes of use for general care. This is not an imposition. Being cordless, it goes anywhere and is very convenient.
