How long do the blades last before having to change out due to dullness?

Due to product maintenance, hair type, and usage, we can’t recommend an exact time frame in which a blade will need sharpening or replacement. Once you feel the blade is starting to pull the hair rather than cutting that is a good indicator that it is time to sharpen or replace the blade set.

First time fiber delight.

This clipper worked flawlessly! It’s amazing and made really short work of shearing my Pygora goats. First time I’ve done so and it was much easier than I anticipated

Do not buy

I've had these clippers for less than a year. I went to use them today, for the 3rd time, and they died after about two minutes.

They’re okay

They get hot quickly so we had to take several breaks. Barely made it through one llama and they just wouldn’t cut anymore. I’m assuming it dulled the blade too

If using for llamas expect to need a replacement blade quickly. We barely got what we needed done with them, and for the price that’s frustrating

They do a nice job!

This is our first time body clipping so we have a lot to learn but these clippers make it much easier. They do get hot quicker than I expected but the instructions

This is our first time body clipping so we have a lot to learn but these clippers make it much easier. They do get hot quicker than I expected but the instructions say to stop every 5-10 minutes to apply more oil. I brushed the blades often and cleaned them completely when done. Hoping they last is a few years. Oh and the case is good quality and roomy for more oil, blades, brushes, cords etc.
