I needed a small clippers to shave my toy poodles face, and these work great! However, they WILL cut your dog. Like extremely easily. Ive been grooming dogs and cats for years and have never given a dog razor burn before, these clippers gave my dog razor burn on her feet. Be extremely careful and only go over an area 1 time with these. Which wouldnt be an issue, if your dog is perfect and doest move at all when youre grooming them. I would not say these are safe for doing clean feet or sanitary areas, or for use on cats. The small size is very nice for grooming small dogs, but the clippers themselves struggle if the hair is even a tiny bit wet (which, hair around the mouth is always damp). The charge lasts for a while, but the blade starts slowing down well before the batteries run out, so then they pull hair. These are good if you are experienced in using clippers, but i would not recommend for beginners. Animals can easily become averse to grooming if they get hurt while being groomed. Be careful! Dont even bother with the plastic attachments, they leave lines in the fur. These are really only for shaving faces and maybe paw pads. Very quiet though, as long as theyre going through clean and dry hair.
