I used these clippers to trim my two horses bridle paths and fetlocks and overall was pretty happy with the results. The easily adjustable blades make blending longer hair in to a shorter length really easy and reduced “choppy” lines. They are also quiet when running which was nice for my more skittish horse. The drawback was the gripping sleeve on the handle very quickly began to slide and rotate, covering the on and off switch and just generally became a nuisance. There isn’t an easy way to remove it so i had to cut it off. Other than that this was a good little clipper.
Powerful for small clippers

These are good clippers. Pros: strong and quiet. Clipped through my horses dirty fetlocks without seiIng up or getting hot. They don't vibrate very much so my horse tolerated them on her face. Cons: they have a cord but likely you'll need an extension cord. No accessories.

The clippers are lightweight and easy to hold. I used them for spring trimming and they did a great job. I liked how easy it was to adjust clipping levels. My only complaints are that the cord is too short and I prefer clippers that have blades that snap off for cleaning rather than having to unscrew the blades and then realign them.
Seems to be a great set of clippers!

Worth a try

You get what you pay for

I usually trust the Wahl brand, however this just doesn't cut it. Literally. I wanted to do a trace clip on both my mini horses, who have shed out, and half way through the first horse, these clippers stopped cutting. They kept vibrating, so I unscrewed the blade and unclogged them. Still didn't keep cutting. I made sure to lightly oil them prior to use and they weren't even getting hot. But I let them have a break and tried again after dusting and lightly oiling. Still nothing. The instructions say they're "self sharpening" which obviously isn't true. The handle on these clippers also say "for indoor use only" so I'm confused as to why they're being sold as light use horse clippers. These definitely are just human hair clippers and won't handle more than slightly light work. They're comfy to hold, but the grip that's removable removes itself on you as you work. They will be going in the trash.
