Too hard for our littles

I had heard that kangaroo jerky was something dogs liked and we bought some. Our two little pups can't eat them as they are too hard. Our big girls love these.

Refused to take a single nibble

My dog who is very treat oriented refused to even taste this, and she has never behaved this way before or since when offered any other treats.

Jerky dog treats

They were too big and hard to break. Now they are all broken up and too small. They are crumbs! They need to come up with a different design of the treat.

Product changed- don't buy

I had purchased these for the last few years and was happy with the product. The new formulation is no longer a "jerky" than can be pulled apart, but is a processed square that is hard as a rock. It can't be broken apart with fingers and even using a knife to cut is extremely difficult. One of my dogs choked on it. Chewy gave me a full refund so happy with this, but very disappointed in the product reformulation and the fact that they still call it a "jerky" as this is a lie.

Hard as a rock

I've purchased these dog treats before and they were easy to break apart for training. Walk About must have changed their recipe as they are rock hard; very difficult to even cut with a knife. In fact, they are so hard I may have to throw them away if my dog continues to stop in the middle of training to try and get them down. What a shame. My dog has protein allergies and I'll most likely need to go back to Barkworthies, once they're back in stock.

They changed the product

I have been buying these treats for a couple of years for my chiweenie and they have changed the way this is made. These traits used to be small short strips that were very jerky like. They were perfect for a reward treat and the kangaroo did not give any problems to other dogs that came over with food allergies. These treats are now huge square chunks that are impossible to break because they are so tough. None of the dogs like them anymore and I will not be buying them again. It's a bummer

Great treats!

My dog Lucy loves these treats. She has a lot of allergies so we are limited on what treats she can have. These are perfect and are the right size for a snack!!
