Awful - hazardous, cheaply made feeder

It does the job
The top doesn’t stay on. My chicks were 5 weeks old when I started using this feeder and they had the lid off in moments. I replaced it a few times but they continued

Almost didn’t purchase after reading the previous reviews. I love this feeder- had no problem with the sharp edges mentioned in negative reviews. It’s so simple to use, I can fill it without having to disconnect a container, perfect for my little silkie chicks and easy to clean. Will def buy again.

It was very obvious from the start this was going to be a possibility based on its very sharp, rough, tight fit...but it was unavoidable. I sliced right through my skin. It loosens after opening it a few times, but even at its easiest, the top and bottom are a difficult fit together. Unfortunately and for reasons I don't know, it didn't occur to me to worry that it may cut the chicks... Maybe because I got cut while sliding it open? I'm lucky they never injured themselves.

Just the minimal pressure required to pick this item up sliced through the outer skin of my index finger. I spent quite a bit of time attempting to file flat the sharp edges but frankly I'm afraid to allow baby chicks to eat from it.

One of my first purchases from Chewy I have not been happy with. This was intended for baby pheasant but it is really light and flimsy and they totally overturn
