How does the guinea pig get into this if it’s hanging from the top?

The nylon straps and clips allow you to fasten the sleeper tunnel to your companion’s cage but is not required. If using for guinea pigs, we recommend placing the sleeper somewhere easily accessible and using the clips to secure it in place.

Flimsy but loved

My rats who are old and not crazy chewers destroyed this and were getting into the plastic that causes the crinkle so I had to take it out after only a few days

My rats who are old and not crazy chewers destroyed this and were getting into the plastic that causes the crinkle so I had to take it out after only a few days. However, they loved it while they had it and would sleep in there for hours. Decent for the price, just expect to have to reinforce it before you give it to your pets.

I bought this and put it up in my rat cage. At first they were hesitant about it, but after they've warmed up to it I placed it as a bridge of sorts between 2 of their platforms. Well, they decided that they love the crinkle noise and will constantly race back and forth and chase one another through it. It doesn't seem like it'll last the longest, but it's definitely worth the price. When their current one wears out I'll definitely be repurchasing one for them.

Sleeping in it, tunneling through it for travel. The old sickly rat boy even loves to sleep in it. They haven't chewed through it, no chew marks on it at all. They are boys and less likely to chew on things to make bedding out of it. I expect it to last for my boys. Has not been tested on my girls yet lol. I'll have to get another one in the future for them when they get their own double critter nation cage.
