What are the measurements of the tent itself?

The tent measures approximately 12 inches long by 10 inches wide and 9 inches high.

Are the straps adjustable? Does it work better with a particular cage?

The sleeper comes with nylon straps and clips, so you can easily attach it inside your companion’s cage. The straps are not adjustable in length however, you are able to adjust the location of where you clip them onto the cage. A specific cage is not required.

Can this tent be put inthe washer? is the support made with a plastic or cardboard insert?

Not good for ferrets. Chew/choke/blockage risk.

I gave only 4 stars because I discovered that the thin plastic piece in the bottom of this tent is a massive chew/choke hazard for a ferret. It like would work with

I gave only 4 stars because I discovered that the thin plastic piece in the bottom of this tent is a massive chew/choke hazard for a ferret. It like would work with other pets, but I’ve no experience with other small pets such as rats, guinea pigs, Chinchillas etc. It’s a cute tent and very roomy, so I do wish this would’ve worked out.

Piggie bed

The guinea pig loves this to sleep in. However, we remove the plastic insert in the bottom to put in the wash and wash that separately.

Happy Chinchies!
