This is a horrible cage

This cage is too small for a single guinea pig, let alone two. Do more research about Guinea pigs before investing in one. They aren’t starter pets

Good for temporary housing

Cage was smaller than expected-my fault for not properly checking dimensions. This cage is definitely not big enough to house a g-pig long term, but a good starter

Cage was smaller than expected-my fault for not properly checking dimensions. This cage is definitely not big enough to house a g-pig long term, but a good starter for maybe a baby pig or in my case when temporarily separating male and female for short term. Hay quality is poor-it was all crumbles and no actual pieces of hay for eating. Other than that quality is fine, just small!

Home Sweet Home Sunseed Guinea Pig Starter Kit

Easy to put together and starter kit was a plus to get the pig started off on a good "paw". I don't think 2 adult pigs would be comfortable in the same cage, but

Not worth the money

This cage is very flimsy. There’s no opening to the cage without bending it it is not worth the money.

No, No, No

This cage is terrible for guinea and not be marketed for sale. Guinea pigs require up to 8 sq. ft. or bigger per guinea pig. Midwest cages are a great size to start off with. Another way to go is by purchasing a ton of C&C grids and Chloroplast for a floor in the cage. The bedding offered in this package is not good for them. Get some anti-pill fleece and cut it to the size of the cage. You can also use a fleece (or similar) pee pad liner or both. Cavies require Timothy Hay as it makes up majority of their diet and is also good for keeping their teeth grinded. Treats are cool, but I recommend Oxbow's line of treats, specifically their bell pepper treats. Also, the bigger the cage, the more water bottles you'll need. I suggest at least two water bottles minimum on a 2X5 C&C grid cage. A 2X5 C&C grid cage is the perfect size cage for two or three guinea pigs and gives them plenty of room to run and jump.

Please don’t buy this

This cage is WAY too small for Guinea pigs. These cages shouldn’t be marketed at all for them.
