Piece broken
One of the pieces for the latch hook was broken on the side of the cage and had to be zipped tied on. Other then that it’s perfectly fine

Don’t Buy!!
It came looking used, the box was very broken in different parts. The two of the trays are already broken.

The bottom pullout tray is only about 2" deep. So when your ferret urinates in the corner the pee will not be contained to the cage. Sometimes the poop won't either. The pee will always be on the wall & floor outside of the cage or inside the metal glider where tray slides or on top of glider rail (where most of the poop lands because it has nowhere to fall) which will all eventually cause rust. More important than that is it's a disgusting FRUSTRATING mess to clean up outside of the cage every morning! I've always thought the purpose of a cage was to house the animal & contain its urine/feces. That's not the case here! Size of cage is awesome & it would be an almost perfect product IF the tray was 5"-6" deep. There's 3" of unused space between wheels & the bottom of tray so they DEFINITELY could have made it deeper. It's like whoever designed it HAS NEVER OWNED A FERRET & ISN'T FAMILIAR w/how they do their business. Yet it's a ferret cage WOW
no medal on bottom
If your animal likes to chew, they can make a hole through the bottom like my chinchillas did and were loose throughout the house because of it.

When my daughter first became a ferret owner, we bought a "beginner" cage. After getting the second ferret, the first cage was ok. But, we needed bigger. We really love this bigger cage because in addition to being larger, it has full sized doors, at two levels, along with a couple of smaller doors. So access for cleaning etc is so much easier! The multiple levels are fun and give our girls options for moving around and playing! There is even a "penthouse" level they enjoy stretching out on! There is enough room for a small cardboard box, for hiding and sleeping in, three hammocks, toys, a bowl for water, and still room for rolling around and tussling in! We are very, very pleased with this purchase. Also very easy to put together. Although the provided allen wrench broke along the way, but that wasn't a big deal. If we had the means and the space, we'd buy a second one and put them together!
DO NOT BUT THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!¡!!!!!!!

Nice cage for price
The cage is durable like the cage I was replacing. I only wish the cage opened in the front. The side access is not the best for accessing to clean other levels
The cage is durable like the cage I was replacing. I only wish the cage opened in the front. The side access is not the best for accessing to clean other levels. I have 5 naughty ferrets that poop on other levels so cleaning is a bit difficult. The tray at the bottom is great if my ferrets would do there business at the bottom. The side entrance locks are a bit flimsy so you have to ensure you lock it. The front opening is a decent size and the lock is great.

We decided to upgrade our Penelope’s cage to something more sturdy and something she’s unlikely to get out of like her current cage. We picked this due to the ability to easily remove the bottom for cleaning. It came in 2 days (impressive). We started putting it together and its about as much a headache as anything else until we got to the doors. They wouldn’t go on the hinges and we realized there was rust on the inside of where they go in, and the top of the metal was breaking away. We start looking at other pieces and get to a side wall that has rust in 3 of 4 corners on each side and down the wires. Chewy is amazing and sending a replacement, so we will see if this is a fluke. It is otherwise sturdy and would be an amazing home for furry creatures without this issue. If you order it, look at all parts for large amounts of rust before putting it together to save time.
