How do you "charge" the collar with light and how long do you have to "charge" it for and how long does it last?

This collar can be charged under direct light from any light source: lamp, sunlight, et cetara. It takes approximately 1 hour to fully charge the product. The brighter the light source, the faster the process goes. After being charged, the glowing period is 1 hour with decreasing intensity.
What keeps this collar glowing? Is it the material it’s made from or a charge of some type? Also, can you look outside in a large yard and see it?

This collar has a material that includes light accumulating elements which makes it glow in the dark. It can be possible to see glowing at a large distance. However, this depends on the weather (humidity especially) and how much light the collar was exposed to before.

Works but not well enough

I got this because I have a black dog that tends to hang out in dark places like the hall which is becoming a trip hazzard. It does sort of glow but only faintly. I do like the silicone material it uses but I am going to have to do a light up one which I didn't want to do because it needs to be on all the time and I don't want to take it off to charge it every day, or more often depending on which one. Long to short this is a disappointment for several reasons.

GLOW IN THE BARK

This collar is durable. I was a bit nervous when i put it on my dog just because i thought the rubber would catch on his hair and cause him discomfort. i was pleasantly surprised at the fact it didn’t do that.

Doesn't last...

I loved this collar at first. Waterproof and the glow feature. It fit my dalmatian puppy well. Unfortunately after only three months of normal wear the waterproof layer started ripping near the seam, to reveal nylon underneath. Not durable. For a $20 collar I expected more. It was also impossible to get clean once it had gotten dirt on it. I still have the matching leash and it shows no signs of wearing yet the way the collar did. But it doesn't get used daily.

Want to love it

Really wanted to love this collar. I love the color, and the glow in the dark. (needs to be in the sun to “charge” in order to glow later) I also love(d) the buckle and I got the matching leash. Sadly the buckle no longer works and sadly the tab that you can attach the dog tag to ripped off since it’s just a silicone tab- they should definitely fix this and make it a more sturdy loop.

Great Protection

The collar came quickly and reassures my human's that if I get too close to the road at night my collar will glow and drivers can see me!

I love this collar!

It is such a pretty color and when she comes in from outside in the sunshine it glows really bright! It needs to be "charged" for night time use since she's a primarily inside dog. I also LOVE that it came with PetID!

Glow in the dark? NOT!

This is a rubbery material, which is fine for a leash but not a collar. It doesn't glow in the dark. It's not reflective. You can't see it at night, which is what i wanted for my little dog. :-(

Its rubber and pulls dogs hair :-(

I put this on my sweet boy and it pulled his hair out and he freaked out... This collar is a very sticky feeling rubber....
