I had no problem switching a new cat from some misc garbage kibble to this. I am lucky I do not have a picky eater on my hands, I am new to owning a cat! She is less than one year old but not a baby kitten. Maybe 7 months? I sometimes add water to the kibble as well. She will eat it no matter what I do to it. My cat's coat is also so smooth and shiny. Not sure if it is due to this food, or just an upgrade in quality in general. I jump around with whatever wet food I give my cat so this dry food has been the main consistent element since she came into my life a few weeks ago. It appears to be doing her good. 1 star off because I'm not convinced of the overall quality of dry food in general, lots of carbs.
Rejected by both cats, not even the stray that lives under the shed will eat it.
Cats will eat it only if mixed with the Pro 1 Kitten chow. By itself they play with it because it rolls.
My kitten ate the food and they had diarrhea they barely ate the food. So I switched over to something different. I never seen them get so sick off of food
Kitten don’t love love it but nutritious food for kittens growth. Fur all shiny now too
I have a ~4month old kitten and when I first got her she was eating Iams Healthy Kitten. After looking at different kitten foods I decided to incorporate this the Wellness Core because it was grain free and had more protein in comparison. She's been eating a mix of the two and I think she prefers it more. I didn't have any issues adding this to her diet and she seems more eager to eat this kibble as well. Kibble size is fairly small, she doesn't have issues biting in. It's a bit pricey in my opinion so I would shop around for sales, but overall a great choice for my cat. I pair it with the same line of wet food and it's been working well the past few weeks.
My 2 kittens like the Core kitten chow. No fillers, grains or other ingredients cats don't naturally eat. They are healthy and their fur is soft and shiny. The only reason for 4 stars is the smell!
14 kittens and their moms and not one of them liked this. Mixed it into other kibble so they eat it by proxy but sadly not a 'storm the banquette' apparently. We have special diet cats so need to do grain free otherwise I'd totally go back to Royal Canin mom and kitten kibble. RC is expensive but at least a big go to for any picky eater. This Core kibble sadly is not especially considering the price. Their wet is a big favor though as shown in the pic, the kibble not so much :(
Bought this brand for the first time and the two kittens love it
My kitten would not eat this. She likes the wellness wet food alot but this was a bust. Try a small bag first.
