Adult Feeding Guide: 2 pouches per 5 lbs of bodyweight per day. When feeding this item with dry food reduce dry by � cup for every 1 pouch wet. Always provide access to clean, fresh water and refrigerate unused portion.
The best way to transition your pet onto a new food is to gradually introduce the food by mixing it with the old diet (starting by mixing 90% old with 10% new and increase new by 10% each day until the bowl is full of only Wellness). Mixing the food will allow your pet to acclimate to the new taste and not overindulge on the new food.
When food transition is not an option, there are a few ways to ensure a good transition:
Feed multiple, smaller volume meals. This will decrease the likelihood of over-consumption and provide for a more consistent, firm stool. Add clean warm water to the food to help soften it. Add a digestive aid such a boiled brown rice or sugar-free canned pumpkin.

New dogs new palates

Having 2 new to our home dogs, we are still learning their likes & dislikes. They are eating these pates but don't seem to care for the texture. Will stick to the shredded from now on.

I love these little pouches! I have two small dogs and I always had to save leftover food from the larger cans in the refrigerator because they couldn't eat all the contents at once . . . these little pouches provide enough food for one feeding, then I just throw the pouch away - No more dog food in my refrigerator, and No Mess!

I purchased this to add to our Basenji/Rat Terrier mix's food. He's extremely fussy, so I add wet food to his regular Wellness Core dry dog food. He loves it. I did have him on a different brand, and he was getting diarrhea from it. He's doing so much better on this one.

I bought this food because it was highly rated but my dog is a small breed and would sniff and walk away. It really is frustrating but eventually she would eat a little of the beef and chicken but not the chicken at all.

My Chihuahua, Fuji is 3 years old. I've been feeding her Wellness Core dry food since she was a pup. I appreciate the quality, she loves the taste! I decided to try their Pouches as a "topper" on her dry food. It was a instant success!

Work great for my senior dog who has become somewhat finicky with her eating. She is 17 years young and has her good days and not so good days, but the Wellness Core Mini's seem to be just enough variety to stimulate her appetite.
