Your pet can be easiest transitioned by adding 10% of the new formula to 90% of what you had been feeding the first day. Each day after that decrease the old flavor or formula by 10% and increase the new by 10%.
They advertise with these great meats, lamb, boar, rabbit then chicken meal is the third ingredient? Just buying filler & not what's being advertised . Beware of your dog has a sensitivity to chicken. Switching brands.
So, I’ve been reading a lot of the comments of people buying the small bags of this stuff, saying how there wasn’t much of the dried pieces in it. (Assuming the small bag would be a tested?) I’ve never bought a small bag but the 18lb bag I’ve gotten had lots of freezer dried pieces included w/ kibble. Caring for a Siberian husky and a Pit mix and they LOVE IT!! Pit was a rescue and alittle picky with the kibble we’ve given her. This? she we Immediately crush in seconds.. lol. (Definitely because of raw pieces). Highly recommend if you’re looking for a new dog food to try. **pic is half way through the bag.
All the dogs must really like the flavor they gobble it up.
Dogs love it. This will be the only food I will feed them.
My dog just does not like this. He will not eat it as a treat or as a meal. He has been on Core Wellness all his life. Trying to get him away from chicken.
I bought a small bag of this to test out, my dog loved it. It has freeze dried pieces mixed in with the normal dog food. The issue with the big bag is all the freeze dried pieces (the part dogs really want) have fell to the bottom of the bag. So the first have of this bag has been my dog trying to find the freeze dried pieces (and thus not really eating the food/making a mess trying to find the good pieces) .... ultimately they are beginning to become more common in each bowl when I get further down the bag. Wish they had equal distribution as the smaller bags.
Got this as a topper for my dogs dry food, they are panting like crazy and super slobbering over it, very upset at this food for their stomachs, couldn't imagine what's going on actually
When we first opened the bag there was alot of both kibble and raw lamb, after that 3/4 of the bag had little to no freeze-dried lamb. I paid 27. bucks for a 4lb. bag. Highly disappointed
Our dog has gotten very picky. We tried this food and he really likes it. His stools have firmed up. I recommend this food
I am trying to find a food for my picky eater dogs. From what I can tell it’s OK but I also put a little hamburger and rice on top so I am thinking that helps. Any suggestions.
