Pup loves this a lot, especially since we use his kibble, mix it with bone broth and freeze. If Im feeling like giving him a tear to go eith it ill smear some pb, yogurt or pumpkin in there, or top with wet food and some freeze dried treats and freeze. Easily extends his mealtime by about 15-20 minutes and gives him some enrichment as well. Great purchase!

A very good product. Well made, and sturdy enough but will not be long lasting for a heavy chewer. My dog has already chewed off the top edges after 2 uses-he had to work at it, though! It does keep him busy for a good amount of time. He loves it. It's easy for him to maneuver, to grasp but challenges him to empty the frozen stuffing. Kept him busy for almost an hour.
Nice big opening so nothing goes to waste!

I like to feed a meal in a challenge for enrichment. Kongs don't really work for my golden retrievers as they really can't get their noses into the smaller end. I was able to put 1-1/2 cups of food in the large size and freeze them and it took them about an hour to get them emptied.

I switched to this product after using a Kong food hider since those were so hard to clean and my large breed dog couldn’t reach the bottom of them (even for the appropriate size). The Toppl is MUCH easier to clean and my dog is able to lick all areas inside of it. The hole on the side is great for dispensing small treats when your dog pushes it over.

I have one, and he likes it. I didn’t realize though that in this same order I placed, the Critta Fritta little acorn toy is basically the same thing but cheaper. While the toppl is clearly made of more durable materials, I bought it to combine with our large and use as a treat dispenser but wasn’t convinced it would actually work very well for that purpose based on the ridges inside. The likelihood of my dog destroying or ingesting parts of it seemed like it would increase by using it that way, so I decided to keep the less expensive, super cute, and durable enough for us Critta Fritta that actually *also* has the little ridges inside and has a lid that doubles as a lick mat/bowl. It seems to be made of soft silicone, so as I said, not as durable as the topple. But since it comes with a lid, I can use it to dispense treats and the relative size and space between components seems like it will work better for that purpose. If you have a smaller dog and don’t have a toppl, they’re great. But the Critta Fritta is almost a third of the price for the exact same design if you don’t have to worry about your dog eating it.

I mixed a pumpkin-peanut butter puree mixed with goats milk and their dry dog kibble and some dehydrated liver treats, then froze it. Boy, was it a treat that kept him busy for quite some time. It allowed me to get our dinner started without interuption and my puppy even brought me his empty Toppl toy for me to clean it for next time.
Best Toy!

I already owned a large size Toppl and thought I’d get the small, because I read you can interlock them to get a “treat dispenser challenge” (you’ll see this in one of the pictures). Unfortunately, as in most of these cases, this leaves a bit to be desired, since my pup’s freeze-dried pieces fall out a bit too easily and it doesn’t take him long at all to get everything out. I have also used the Toppl by itself: I add bone broth or turkey broth to rehydrate my pup’s food and then freeze it. Unfortunately, if you add broth, you really HAVE to then have the special stopper (a separate purchase, unfortunately), because trying to stop up the hole with peanut butter or pumpkin wasn’t enough and I ended up with a puddle of bone broth on my counter. That being said, I have found this Toppl to be a good arsenal in trying to slow my voracious eater down. I schmear some peanut butter or pumpkin on the bottom and then add his rehydrated freeze-dried food, and it takes him about 15-20 minutes to get all the goodies out (closer to 30 minutes, if I freeze it first). That being said, the small only fits about 1/4 c. of his food + broth + some extras (for example, some sliced veggies or a piece of jerky), so it’s not big enough for his full meal.
