Great when it works. Customer support is subar
Despite the price tag, I was delighted to buy Whisker's auto-feeder when it came out. We've been really happy with the litter robot that Whisker makes and were hopeful that this would be a solid, lasting auto-feed solution. The feeder worked great until it didn't. The feeder jammed, and I got an error that told me to reach out to Customer Support. I reached out and didn't hear back from them for over a week. I followed up a few times and finally heard back from them over two weeks after my initial outreach (by this point, we already bought a second cheap auto-feeder in an effort to maintain feeding sanity in the house). So, after 2+ weeks, Whisker sent some basic troubleshooting that didn't fully fix the issue. I reached out for additional support. No answer. I reached out asking if I could get a replacement since I was within my 1 year warranty. No answer. Bummer.
Best Feeder Out There
Simply put, it’s worth every penny. I’ve had other automatic feeders in the past and this blows them away. The app is very easy to use, and provides peace of mind that your kitty is getting fed while you are away from home. If you are considering this product, I couldn’t recommend more.
Piece of trash
Wifi connectivity connectivity broke just after the warranty expire. Terrible customer service that doesn't respond to emails. Hours and hours of troubleshooting over several weeks only to be told I'd need to buy a new unit. Now just a glorified pet feeder with no smart features that make it so expensive.

Feeder is awesome
We purchased the feeder to assist with daytime feeding of kibble for our five cats. It took them a few days to get comfortable with the auto feed with only one bowl. But they figured it out. I love the flexibility the app provides including adding a snack, reducing meal size or even skipping a planned meal. My only complaint is that no user manual is included, only online.
Home Away from Home
Love this machine. Only gave it four stars because it does not have a battery back-up. We have a lot of power outages in this area and worry that the kitties might not get fed if that happens while we’re gone.
Works fine
The unit is a bit noisy, and the gravity feeding option needs a little troubleshooting when you receive it, but I can't complain too much.
Whisker feeder-robot
I work out of the house a fair bit and something I fear is a regular eating schedule for my pet. I encourage anyone interested in this product to download the free (at least it’s free on Apple not 100% sure on android) app for your phone/mobile device. I purchased this for my cat in early 2022 and I LOVE it. I’ve had it for around a month and it’s great! If I’m running late from my evening job, I can easily dispense a ‘snack’ or dinner from anywhere. There is the ability to program meal portions, (also alternate a different dispensing size). With the app you can also create a schedule. The app also allows you to check kibble hopper level as a well which is nice. If you’re a multi-pet family, this might not work for you. Since I am a single cat household, I can’t really attest to that.
Worth the price!
I love this feeder! The app makes it super easy to setup and monitor. The previous feeder I had was crazy hard to program and could not easily check the schedule. It was also very loud when it served the kibble. This feeder may be more expensive but it's worth it to me to have the convenience of the app.
Love my new feeder!
My pup has a routine and demands to be fed at a certain time each day. This feeder has fit into our day to day seamlessly. I'm able to program out the preferred portions and time of day (morning/night) for my pup. The app is super easy to use. I was able to set-up, schedule her meals, and add the robot to the app quickly. I think it's really cool too that I can easily use the app and give my pup a snack if needed. Making any changes or edits to the schedule is just as easy as setting it up. I love that the app tracks how much food is left in the feeder too. Makes it easier for me to keep track and know when I need to restock. This feeder is also lightweight and easy to clean. When I first got it I thought it was going to be an extra chore and a big heavy thing to carry around, but that's not the case at all. I'm really happy we tried this product and definitely recommend it. #Chewyteamrated
