How much food your dog eats each day is dependent upon size, level of activity, stage of reproduction, and environment. When feeding in measured amounts, feed according to the weight of your dog. Use this table as a GENERAL GUIDE to determine how much Whole Earth Farms to feed your dog.
Weight | Daily Feeding |
---|---|
5 lbs | 1/2-2/3 can |
10-20 lbs | 1-1 2/3 cans |
30-40 lbs and up | 2 1/4-3 cans |
50-60 lbs | 3 1/3-4 cans |
70-100 lbs | 4 1/3-5 2/3 cans |
*For dogs over 100 lbs. add 1/2 can of wet dog food for each additional 10 pounds. Puppies and pregnant or lactating females may consume two to three times the recommended daily amount. Adjust feeding level to maintain optimum weight and condition. Feed your dog according to the level of activity and individual needs. Cover and refrigerate unused portions. Keep fresh water available at all times. If feeding with dry food, reduce wet amount by 6 oz. for every 1/2 cup of dry food.
Slowly transition your pet by choosing one of Whole Earth Farm's recipes and mix it with your current pet food over the course of 5-7 days. Continuously increase the amount of our kibble or canned food while decreasing the amount in your dog’s current diet.

Completely Changed, Gel like and Watery Now
By Quincysmom on Feb 15, 2021
This has completely changed, I used to love this food, loved that it was a dense pate consistency. Now it is filled all around with gel and water, protein values have gone down, fat is up. It is really gross now, and I'll be changing as soon as I can find something like the way this used to be! Btw, they have done the same thing to the chicken and turkey recipe, which is reflected in recent reviews. I can't believe they didn't even let consumers know about the change, especially if you buy in bulk, that's not fair. Did another company buy them out? hmm. So sad about this! Dogs used to love it!

happy puppy !
By 4footers on Dec 29, 2020
Doggie is not a puppy . He’s a chi, 10 ,and a chubby one ! Had liver issues but me being very holistic went diet and supplements... This food is great because the fat content is on the low side and has organ meat . Doggie will eat anything that drops from above so he not picky . I give him a liver supplement along with lysine and has not had any issues since his first incident 2 years ago. I still try other foods with low fat ,but he does do great with this brand and meat contents. Happy doggie, Happy mommy!

Awesome Product
By Chewyhasafavorite on Feb 19, 2021
My dogs absolutely LOVE this food! My one dog is allergic to chicken/turkey, and he goes crazy over this. I'm so happy Chewy.com carries it because other stores don't.

Formula has changed
By Elliot on Oct 3, 2020
My dog likes this well enough, but be aware that the formula has changed to 8% protein and 5% fat. I confirmed this with a very helpful manufacturer's customer service representative. They said that the formula had changed but their advertising had not yet been corrected. The old formula 10% protein and 3% fat was better suited to my needs.

Best mistake ever
By Daizeesmom on Aug 10, 2020
We got a case of this in last months shipment by mistake. Of course Chewy’s awesome customer service, said to keep, or donate. Well, my dog (13.5 yrs) loved this flavor. I mix in something with her dry food, so she eats better. I was even able to hide her meds in a meatball from this, and she ate it right down. Usually, she can smell the medicine, and eats around it.

Dogs love it
By DoxieMom on Jan 30, 2020
My senior rescues have had dental issues and teeth removed. I have tried several different wet foods and they seem to be able to pick it out. This food is very much like a pate and so I can mix it well with the dry and even softens the dry a bit. The love this food. Additionally both develop skin issues with foods that contain grains. So this is a win-win in our house.

Doggie favorite
By Chewbacca on Aug 19, 2019
We adopted an older Bassett hound who was having trouble adjusting to his new home. He hardly ate and lost some weight within his first week. My cats love the whole earth dry food and I figured I’d give the dog food a try. He loved it! Gained his weight back and now goes crazy every time I grab a can. :)
