Chicken meal is a high quality concentrated protein source that contains muscle meat. Meal is made by grinding the protein after it has been rendered (cooked in a stew-like way but at high temperatures) and then dried so it'll contain a higher protein content and low moisture which helps provide the pet with the most nutritional value in the food.

It’s high in protein and amino acids to help strengthen and maintain your pet’s muscles. It’s also a high-quality source of glucosamine for joint health. Chicken meal does not include feathers, heads, feet or entrails.

Their ingredients have the least amount of allergens and my cat loves it!

My adult cat has a boatload of food allergies/sensitivities and I must be very careful to find food that he "can" eat, but also what he "will" eat! He was eating

He was eating the Freely rabbit kibble until they just recently discontinued it. I found this new Wholesomes Chicken Meal & Rice Formula that has the least amount of allergens in the ingredients and he just loves it! Thank you Chewy!

I adopted my cats when they were kittens from a rescue. I bought what they feed them Purina naturals. I also have dogs that eat the large breed wholesomes. We have bought the dog food for over 10 years now. My dog was having seizures from treats and food with dye. We have never switched even after she passed away. Anyway when we brought the kitties home the wouldn't eat thier food once they found the dog food of the wholesomes. I bought them the cat wholesomes. They stay out of the dog food and happily eat thier food since the switch. The wholesome line is a great product with no corn, soy or wheat. It is the best price for the size and ingredients in the food.

Great cat food, but FedEx sucks

I always try to order through chewy for my pets but two times now I had issues with not receiving my package on time, I was supposed to receive my package with my

I always try to order through chewy for my pets but two times now I had issues with not receiving my package on time, I was supposed to receive my package with my cat food and other items in it on the 24th well figures fedex got delayed so then I couldn't receive it until the 27th because of memorial day weekend and here we are 10pm and still no package and no update even though it says its been out for delivery since 2:50am! And when i do receive my package with fedex half the time they just toss my box onto my porch from the second step up, ugh, disappointed!

Quality control needs to be better

I've ordered this food twice for my cats. The first bags were considered normal size for cat food. The second bags are much larger kibbles. Like small dog size food

I've ordered this food twice for my cats. The first bags were considered normal size for cat food. The second bags are much larger kibbles. Like small dog size food. Why? I don't know. I do know that I'm going to have to order different food now, because my cats can't handle the bigger kibble size and are taking the kibbles to different locations to eat, rather than eat at their bowls, like they have been.
