I bought one of these before and my birds showed no interest for a long time. They finally became comfortable with this "new intruder" and then consumed it all. I wanted try it again but they only nibble on it a little at a time. So, I would say it is just ok. They don't hate it and they don't love it. I will say I would not recommed it just based on my experience but other birds may love it. They not are expensive, so it could not hurt to try.

Purchased this foraging toy for my parakeets. While the size is very correct for a parakeet and no larger of a bird the quality lacks. This toy is supposed to be stuffed with millet for foraging and there is very very little millet actually within the toy. So of course since there is no incentive to forage for the birds have no interest in it. Millet is inexpensive so just purchase the plumes of millet out right and skip this toy.
