Wild Harvest Picnic Party Hut Strawberry Small Pet Treat

First off... this is well built. The material is sturdy but has that "chewable" texture of other similar items made of natural materials. It also looks nice! However.. the caveats: First, the cutaway in the front is way too small for my guinea pigs to actually get inside the dome and use it as a hiding space. They just don't even bother. Second, after a month in their enclosure, they haven't even chewed it a little bit. Maybe they are spoiled for the honey added to the Wild Harvest (same brand as this item) "Edible Logz" I usually give them. Unfortunately, they have turned to gnawing on the plastic parts of their hay rack (they have a C&C enclosure, and the hay rack is the same coroplast material) I was going to give this three stars at first, but after thinking about it, I've lowered it to two, because the whole point isn't to make their habitat cute, it's to give them something to fulfill their need to chew. And it isn't working.
