Does it have a strong rubber smell

Wild One rubber toys have a general rubber smell, but nothing overpowering. The manufacturer does not use harmful additives in their toys like binders or glue, only natural rubber and natural rope.

terrible quality - don't buy

gave to my dog and she destroyed it in under 5 minutes and was eating pieces of it. so unsafe and terrible quality.

LOVE this toy for my dog, super durable and easy to clean in the dishwasher. I love putting peanut butter or freezing treats in the end of the bolt bite - keeps my dog busy! I've had this for a few years and my husky shep hasn't chewed through it at all.

Disappointed

I really hoped that this toy would hold up for my 1-yr old husky-mix, but it did not. In less than 15 minutes of supervised play time with this toy, the toy ended

I really hoped that this toy would hold up for my 1-yr old husky-mix, but it did not. In less than 15 minutes of supervised play time with this toy, the toy ended looking like the rest of the ones in the photos. This toy may only work for pups/dogs that are not chewers. This may work for playing fetch, I will never know.

I actually have three of these. Originally I had only two for the two dogs I owned and my pittie mix LOVED chewing on this toy. She would just gnaw all day and while she left teeth marks in it, she never destroyed it. I also put treats in there and it was an added bonus. I did adopt a stray (terrier mix) and she figured out how to chew the ends off like the pictures you see here. Once that was happening, I just sawed the ends off until I was down to the core. (Made the toy considerably smaller, but it works for them still. I purchased a third one and as long as I am watching the little one, they aren't able to chew up the ends and it lasts! They love taking this outside and I don't mind if they do bc it washes off so easily. I did message Wild One. I think if they closed the end off, but left it hollow, it might last longer. TBF, I haven't found a toy that can withstand the super chewers I have in this household. Even when they brag about being indestructible. It is just a reality I live in. :)
