Additional balls available?

Answer by DianaDec 30, 2024
Any tennis ball will fit. I swap mine out for one of the Kong squeakers that’s the same size of the tennis ball and it fits perfectly inside. I’d take a picture but Peaches is having too much fun playing with it.

Does the ball come out?

Answer by ChewyFeb 02, 2023
The ball can be removed.

Will this stand up (within reason) to a dog who loves to chew?

Answer by ChewyJan 21, 2023
This toy is recommended for average chewers. The toy’s longevity depends on your dog’s strength and play style.

A Ball-Obsessed Dog’s New Favorite

I have a busy and smart border collie/cattle dog mix and he’s obsessed with balls. I was looking for a puzzle that’s not just food-based, and this one does the trick!

I have a busy and smart border collie/cattle dog mix and he’s obsessed with balls. I was looking for a puzzle that’s not just food-based, and this one does the trick! Compact, easy to clean, and not too challenging. He does get the ball out fast now with a few tried and true techniques, but it always means we do a little celebration before we start fetching! This is one extra way to get him more enrichment and problem-solving in his day.

Chewed at rubber

Zucca couldn’t figure this out. Instead, he chewed pieces off the blue rubber.

Peaches is in love and entertainment is maxed out

I was worried at first that it wouldn’t hold her attention because she can’t get the ball out and maybe overtime she will be able to but I don’t think so. She’s a lab healer mix but she’s on the small side but she’s determined she loves puzzle toys and this one is is right up there with the soccer balls that are meshed that I put squeaky inside. However, she’s not strong enough to compress this because it’s such stiff rubber think of like a large size Kong. It’s that thick durable rubber. I think because she seen me take the ball out and then I swapped it for another one. She realizes it can come out, but she’s not able to do it herself. We’ll see how long until she gets frustrated and gives up, but she’s been going for a good 10 minutes All around the family room pick it up and bring it back to the end of the room and repeat and tries again. Her birthday is coming up in February. I may have to get the pink one or maybe the light blue one for so that we can put another alternative size ball I have some that are not quite as big as the tennis ball but should fit and she might be able to get those out so that she won’t lose interest but I give this 100 star if I could. For like a Roddy or a pity, I don’t know if this would be a great toy or any dog that’s a nibbler because there are places where they could nibble on the rubber and destroy the toy but if you have a dog that enjoys puzzles and B isn’t a destroyer of toys Get it and she got the ball out.!!!!!’ot the ball out.

Indestructible dog toy that brings hours of entertainment!

My Golden Retriever is an avid chewer and has destroyed lots of toys. This Wild One toy occupies her for hours, but she can't destroy it. The plastic is sturdy and doesn't chew off in bits, and she spends hours playing with it. It is one of her favorite toys, and we will be buying several because it has lasted so well and kept her busy while we work from home.

Great toy

My son’s 9mos GSD figured this out in no time but took it upon himself to push it back in to keep playing with it. He’s a smart one!

Great purchase!

Our 7 month puppy borderline obsesses with it and we appreciate a solo, not food motivated toy for her and safer pet materials. She enjoys trying to get the ball

Our 7 month puppy borderline obsesses with it and we appreciate a solo, not food motivated toy for her and safer pet materials. She enjoys trying to get the ball out as well the most but also chewing and carrying it around too. Bonus that it doesn’t fit under the furniture so she gets a ton of play time.

Not for large dogs

It took my golden doodle 5 mins to pop the tennis ball out and lose it. Not worth the money.

Awesome toy

My Doberman girl loves this toy. Getting the tennis ball out is just challenging enough and then she has a tennis ball which she loves.

My 7 month old GSD figured this out in about 15. I put a harder ball in it will a thick ring around it thinking it would be harder. Still about 15 min and she got it. She does love playing with the tumbler and she will still keep herself occupied with that for awhile I was just hoping she wouldnt figure it out so fast. She is an agrresive power chewer and the tumbler has help up pretty well so far so thumbs up for that
