If it’s important to anyone, this food does not claim to be formulated to meet AAFCO standards. I didn’t realize this food is for “intermittent or supplemental feeding

If it’s important to anyone, this food does not claim to be formulated to meet AAFCO standards. I didn’t realize this food is for “intermittent or supplemental feeding only” because it has added vitamins and minerals. For our use though, it’s a non-issue. This food is very soft, similar to other freeze-dried New Zealand brands (k9 naturals, woof). It’s easy to crumble, but the whole pieces are up to 1 inch long. My dog likes this food but not as much as Bixbi freeze dried (which he’ll eat first).
