It works but you have to help
This product works BUT you need to do more than just open it. You need to remove food sources, clean the area and keep water puddles to a minimum. It’s hardly a wonder and if you do everything listed above, the fruit flies will eventually die anyway. However, this kills them much faster then waiting for their inevitable demise.

It took a couple days for the flies to enter the bottle container, but after they did we haven't seen any since and it's been over a week of no fruit flies. Definitely recommend!

I bought 5 Wondercide Fruit Fly Traps and used all of them to help get rid of an outbreak of gnats (not fruit flies) and they worked like a charm. These were integral to getting rid of thousands of gnats that had infiltrated my home through a broken ridgeline cap on my roof that caused a leak and drew the gnats to roost/nest in one spot of my bathroom ceiling. All was repaired and it was a case of getting rid of the gnats. I also manually picked out thousands of pupae in the nest that would have hatched into gnats. Between the removal of the pupae before they hatched into gnats and these traps that caught all the gnats, we solved the problem!!
Went from a swarm of FF to none in 3 days!
Accidentally left out a sliced tomato when I went out of town for a few days and when I came back, it was fruit fly city, I ordered this, and within three days they were all gone, amazing product and lesson learned.
Decent, not foolproof
After a horrible summer of fruit flies, we put two of these in our kitchen (along with some carnivorous plants, we were desperate). It took about a week, but they are pretty much gone. I don't have the guts to look inside, as some customers have! I am not 100% sure it's not attracting ants. I don't want to spread misinformation, but I feel like we have slightly more than before we got them.
Not helpful
I bought three of these and placed them in different places in the house. We had zero flies trapped over a few weeks. We found it unhelpful and wasteful.

THERE ISN'T A 'MIRACLE' PRODUCT OUT THERE, SO THIS IS **THE B-E-S-T** THAT YOU'RE GONNA FIND! I WAS GONNA TAKE A PICTURE B/C IT'S ALMOST HARD TO BELIEVE, BUT I WRAPPED IT UP & JUST GOT RID OF IT AS FAST AS I COULD!!! **I'M GONNA BUY ONE IN ADVANCE TO HAVE ON HAND, I RECOMMEND YOU DO THE SAME!! Not happy
Does not work, still have my fruit flies. I followed the directions as well and called the manufacturer. Will be turning. Not waste your money buying this product.
Not worth it!!
Not one fly was captured ... I bought Zevo light and it is working. Maybe these flies are not fruit flies
