Can this be used with the wondercide collar for extra protection?

how soon after application of the wondercide spot on for dogs can my dog be bathed
Answer by Chewy • Mar 02, 2023
This treatment is not waterproof, and will need to be reapplied after swimming or bathing. It is recommended bathing the pet first, letting them dry, and then applying the spot on. The application works for up to a month, so if you need to bathe in between that time, just make sure to reapply the Spot On after the bath. The Wondercide Peppermint Flea & Tick Dog Collar is recommended if your dog needs to swim or bathe a lot since the collar can be removed and replaced after bath time.

Is this OK to use on my dog if there is also a cat in our home?
Answer by Chewy • Mar 02, 2023
You may use the spot-on treatment on the dog when cats also live in the home. Please allow the application area to dry fully before allowing pets to play or groom each other. We also carry the Wondercide Spot-On Peppermint Flea & Tick Spot Treatment for Cats which is also perfectly sdafe to be around both pets.

Too soon to tell

I used it on a foster that had been a stray for a very long time. She has two tick borne diseases so had obviously not been treated for quite a while. I applied the product an hour after the groomer found a tick on her. Two days later my neighbor found another on her. I don't know if that means it was getting them to detach or if it wasn't working at all. My vet gave her NexGard the next day and she hasn't had any more since. So I don't know if it worked or not. It did smell good and the tubes are better than most, so that's something.
