How long do unused treats last once the bag is opened?

Just what we needed

My youngest pup just got neutered and I needed something to keep him busy and get him tired while he is recovering and it worked like a charm! I left the whole bag

My youngest pup just got neutered and I needed something to keep him busy and get him tired while he is recovering and it worked like a charm! I left the whole bag in the freezer and when he was going stir crazy I gave him and his older brother each a ball that took them 40 mins to consume and then a 3 hour nap to recoup after all that work. I definitely recommend the calming ones for post surgical pups as it really knocked my mastiff out and allowed him to rest and not aggravate his stitches. My older pup also appreciated being included in the calming ones and seemed to enjoy the rem sleep naps it induced.

My dog did not handle this treat- beware

I originally purchased this product from my dog’s training facility. I bought her both the peanut butter and this calming beef one. She ate the peanut butter one

I originally purchased this product from my dog’s training facility. I bought her both the peanut butter and this calming beef one. She ate the peanut butter one with absolutely no issue. The next night I gave her the calming one. I noticed she liked it. That night I ordered more bags of peanut butter and more of the calming treat from Chewy. I was glad I found something that could keep her busy for a while, with the possibility that it could calm her anxiety. Fast forward to the next morning. I wake up to a diarrhea filled kennel. I am not trying to over share here, but I have never witnessed anything so horrific. None of my dogs have EVER had a reaction like that to a treat. I decided to check negative reviews for the calming beef. I wanted to see if anyone else’s pup had the same issue.. and sure enough, it was very common. I reached out to Chewy immediately and explained what happened; that I had no idea she was going to get sick, otherwise I would not have ordered them. They were amazing. They refunded my money for the calming treats and gave me the option to donate them. I am on the fence about donating that specific product, only because of the reaction that so many dogs had. I will continue to buy the peanut butter refills! They love them.

We also make refills based on the info that came with the popsicle (and mold that we ordered as well). Our dog is 75 lbs and we ordered the XXL popsicle I guess, because these were a little small for the actual pupsicle. That was my fault though.

Impossible to reopen after use

My dogs love these but there’s a huge flaw in the design. I can’t open them after my dogs have finished with them. The rubbery material sticks and holds and it’s so frustrating! I even spray olive oil on the threads before I screw them together. Sometimes it makes them slightly easier to unscrew, but I still have to use a hammer to strike them with force on their sides and then pry them open with the other end of the hammer. I USED to go outside to our cinder brick wall and throw it against it to make them pop open IF I was lucky they would sometimes pop open! I bought 4. 2 for when they’re at their grandmas house, and 2 for home. I ended up tossing 2 of them that I couldn’t open at all! What a waste!

It was a they describe a marvelous distraction. The problem was my dog broke out in a rash on his belly after a couple of days of ingesting these pupsicle balls, I believe he may have been allergic to an ingredient in them as when I stopped them, after a week the rash was gone.

I have been using the Kong and filling with the kong can fillers. It only last about ten minutes and then the dog is looking at you for something else. Saw this and it takes my dog two hours to finish one. Like that there is different refills for different issues for your pet.
