No concerns with the refills, however the containers are a nightmare, as after a few uses the screw in ctop sticks like glue. I emailed the company, they suggested soaking it in boiling water and then rolling it against the edge of the sink to unstick it, that worked a few times but as the rubber gets softer the containers are almost impossible to open. I have purchased two of these, both extra large and large, and have had the same problem with both. I even have tried coating the threads with olive oil before screwing the container together. My doggie park friends complain of the same problem and now basically just use the container as an empty ball.

Not truly "grain free" due to use of brewers yeast

I was very excited to find these with a "grain free" option because the toy this is meant for is one of my dogs favorites, but we recently determined he has a grain allergy. When we received the package, we luckily caught that it is made with brewers yeast. Brewers yeast is made with spent grain, most commonly derived from wheat and barley. Barley just so happens to be the #1 offender to send my dog into grain allergy misery. I found out the hard way after we got him cleared up and back on track with prescription food and added Cosequin back to his diet. Just one dose wrecked havoc within hours of ingestion and looking closely at the label and breaking down each component, revealed that brewers yeast was the culprit. In turn, this made us aware that the brewers yeast in the pupsicles made the claim of grain free inaccurate. All said, this pupsicle pop purchase was very disappointing and could have made for misery for my pup because it is not properly labeled. Please consider re-labeling your product or at the very least, add a disclaimer about the brewers yeast. Also, my pup would be ecstatic if you produced a truly grain free pupsicle pop. The info below mainly highlights the perils of brewers yeast for gluten intolerance, but also reiterates the grain components of brewers yeast: Brewer’s yeast is generally considered a "grain-based" ingredient because it is typically a by-product of beer production, often containing barley or wheat, making it unsafe for strict gluten-free diets. While not technically a whole grain, it is derived from grains and may contain gluten. Here are the key details regarding brewer's yeast and "grain-free" labeling: Contamination Risks: Because traditional brewer's yeast is spent yeast from beer, it often contains trace amounts of gluten-containing grains (barley/malt). Labeling Confusion: Products containing traditional brewer's yeast should generally not be labeled "gluten-free" unless verified by the manufacturer. Exceptions: There are some types of gluten-free yeast grown on sugar beets or molasses instead of beer, which are safe, but standard brewer's yeast is not.

My dog loves these, but they arrived in broken pieces !

My dog loves these, but in order for them to work with the toy, they need to be whole, I would say 3 of the 7 pieces in the package were broken into small pieces that fall out of the popsicle toy. To be fair to the product, I believe they could have been packed in the Chewy box more carefully. They were on the bottom of the box and under a flap, with heavier items on top.

We have a Cane Corso and a Lab, both pretty aggressive chewers. This toy has held up and filling it with either premade or homemade treats really does give you 20-40 minutes of downtime. We use these anytime we need to put the dogs in their kennels while we’re working or need dog-free time when doing chores, etc. if you buy this, get the treat mold too, we’ve used yogurt, pumpkin, peanut butter for making treats in the mold. One note use ingredients that truly freeze solid for easier access while in the pupsicle.

Kept her busy!

Our 10 year old rescue loves to be loved, her food, and her naps. It's taken 9 years to find a toy that keeps her busy for more than 10 minutes. Yes, there's food involved, so that's part of it, but tge last one I gave her kept her busy for 1.5 hours and then she kept going back to it for another half hour or more. That was amazing and great for when I'm on meetings!

I have a dog who has one of the most sensitive guts I have ever seen. You look at him wrong and he gets diarrhea. We are slowly (after 7 years) introducing different treats to him. He loves peanut butter and his treat dispensing toys, so we thought of trying these. They have sat well with him and his belly. These are made from simple ingredients. They are easy to use, fitting into the size appropriate toy well. This saves time for when we forget to prepare treat toys ahead of time, since these can remain in the freezer, it makes treat time so much earlier and convenient. The toy/treat combo keeps my doggo entertained for hours!

These XL treats don't fill the Pupsicle as pictured in the ad

Great Mind Occupier

The treats definitely kept our 3 year-old pup busy for about 25 minutes after freezing the treat. I will say the treats should be frozen as they appear to break

The treats definitely kept our 3 year-old pup busy for about 25 minutes after freezing the treat. I will say the treats should be frozen as they appear to break easily, with one of our treats broken in the bag upon receipt from Chewy. Will definitely buy again to see if a recurring issue.
