Poor Quality, Falling Apart Immediately

I bought the larger option for my 40lb dog (so she’s not even a huge dog). With a single use the thing is riddled with holes and losing chunks of material. This is literally three hours after opening the package and she was only playing with it for about 20 minutes as far as I can tell. Maybe this would work for a dog who doesn’t chew at all, but a food toy should be able to stand up to chewing for more than a single use. Also, while the inside is adjustable there’s no grating or second chamber or anything to make it so the food needs to be oriented a certain way to dispense, so it just dumps all the food immediately (there are other food toys that have those, the Starmark does, and there’s another rubberized one from Chewy that has it too, though I forget the name). This is basically a worse version of the Kong Wobbler. It dispenses food just as fast, is far less durable, and doesn’t wobble. It also costs more.

So, I’m not new to woof products. I usually love their products. We use a Pupsicle every single day in the car to keep my dog calm while in his kennel cause he has car anxiety. I was aware that the threads get stuck a lot. But it’s never been an issue to just grease them with some olive oil and voila it’s fine. THIS toy however is unbelievably stuck after every use even after applying olive oil to the threads. Seriously after this last use I don’t think I will even be able to get it open so I’m going to trash it. Not very happy with that. Pretty bummed cause I LOVED the different sized holes you can adjust so you can make it harder or easier. But I’ll have to just find something else that does the same thing.

The Woof Walkabout puzzle and slow feeder was a big hit at our house. It’s smooth green rubber with lots of nooks to grip. There is a nifty purple inner sleeve that lets you adjust the size of the dispensing hole so you can slow down the treats or vary the size of kibble. We use it as a slow feeder for our super-gobbler beagle and as a treat dispenser for our boxer who bores easily. She plays with it for 45-60 minutes at a time, batting, rolling, and carrying it around the house. I’d recommend the small even for medium-sized dogs. The small is large enough I don’t think it’s going down any throats. But if you have a bruiser or a burley girlie, go ahead and get a larger size. It’s pretty solid and heavy so it should give chewers pause. Overall, a fun distraction for our puppers.

I bought this for my pittie mix- she is a fast eater and doesn't have a food dish because of this. She was getting quite speedy at gobbling down her food even with another brand of food dispenser. For the Walkabout I really like that you can adjust the dispenser size- it keeps her engaged longer. I would estimate that it's doubled the time it takes her to eat her meals. I put it in the dishwasher and it washed up super well! I did have an add a drop of olive oil to allow it to thread back together (rubber on rubber). I find that the pupcicle is the also challenging to thread after being freshly washed. However, I prefer that my pup have rubber toys than plastic- so it's not a big deal to me. I'll be buying another- one to wash and one to feed from. Two thumbs up!

Very few treats or activities can distract him when he’s panicking—but the Woof Walkabout works wonders! It keeps him engaged, helps him problem-solve, and gives him an immediate reward. It’s one of the few things that truly calms him. He loves it! It is also perfect for the puppy “witching hour” that occurs every night, just as we want to settle in! Keeps him entertained and happy!

Is there an award for dog toy of the year? Because this deserves it. I’ve tried all kinds of slow feeding and prey-drive-engaging toys and this has been the best for my dog. It’s simple, clever, easy to use, and keeps her fully engaged for 30 minutes or more at a time. A+ toy and another winner from Woof!

Perhaps it loosens up with time and use. We will never know because our dog has absolutely no interest in this puzzle feeder.

We recently received the Woof Walkabout Slow Feeder & Puzzle Dog Toy. The product has a unique 2‑in‑1 design that provides either a slow feeder or a puzzle toy where the dog has to roll the toy to get food/treats. I really like that the toy has an adjustable dial / opening which controls the amount of food that is expelled and also that its top-rack dishwasher safe. The toy is made of a high quality soft rubber. I have a Senior Jack Russell who is a very picky eater, he seemed to enjoy eating the food as I rolled the ball for him. Overall the puzzle provides a fun mental and physical activity while also allowing you to control or set the toys for slow feeding. The small size toy was perfect for my 17 pound Jack Russell and held approximately 1 cup of kibble. I highly recommend this toy for pet owners who have a high energy pet or one where they need to control the flow.

This is a great slow feeder. I’ve tried several others by other brands - Kong, Fable - and this one keeps my. Dog the busiest for the longest. It’s not quiet per se, but it is much quieter than the other available options, which I think my downstairs neighbors are grateful for. I especially like that it has a variable feeder size so you can increase the difficulty. Of note, it is bigger than I initially expected - but works well.

This product is excellent. Let’s start with the fact that it’s made of rubber- safe for my doggo. Next, it’s winter and cold out and he’s getting less time outside… NO problem!…. We load his kibble into it and set to be a slow feeder. It will accommodate different kibble sizes. It rolls around and slowly distributes for him keeping him moving. It also has a harder, puzzle mode which provides further entertainment/engagement from our active cattle dog. A side Bonus - It cleans up in the dishwasher. Love this one.
