How many cats can fit? There are two kittens living outside, and I'd like to buy one from them.

Answer by TrishaOct 19, 2025
I purchased the larger option for 2 adult feral cats that get along, and they are using it together. Both adult cats fit inside together and sleep in it.

What is the temperature of the heating pad?

Answer by JillNov 25, 2025
I'm actually not happy with the temp. I have it set on high and barely feel any warmth. If anyone has an idea how to make this hotter I'd appreciate the help.

Does this plug in?

Answer by ChewyOct 01, 2025
This does plug in and features a chew-resistant cord.

How durable is the Nylon and how well will it keep the heat inside?

Answer by ChewyOct 26, 2025
This house is made of durable 900D Oxford cloth. It is insulated with aluminum foil for warmth.

We bought the larger size to accommodate 2 TNR’d ferals. They use it together, so 5 stars. At first, i was concerned about the hammock like bottom (no solid base inside, instead there is a rectangular cross of straps that holds up the bottom underneath.) They don’t care and use it. Rooftop is velcro. It repels rain. I check every now & then to make sure pad is warm & it is. They use both entries/exits. I wish there was more info/instruction for the heat settings. It has low, middle, high. We have been using it on low (night temps 32-45). I am unsure of when to bump up to middle, high. Chew cord means that cord casings are included to apply. My partner says assembly instrux could have been better. We are pleased to get an outdoor heated house at this price to accommodate 2. So far so good.

We have a feral cat we are feeding and as the weather has been changing we wanted to make sure she was safe from the elements this house has a pressure sensitive heating pad with 3 settings, a wind proof guard on both doors, easy roof access to clean the house and it’s elevated. Honestly it’s perfect!

This item caught my eye because it was advertised as insulated, heated and waterproof. A stray cat showed up outside my house and never left. Sweet cat that I wanted to have a warm safe place to sleep during the winter. The house is exactly as pictured/described. Now I just need the cat to use it! I’ve been placing treats inside and she will go in to get the treats but doesn’t stay. Hopefully when I plug in the warmer she will want to go in. I got the smaller version so the heat wouldnt escape easily. The perfect size for a cat to cuddle up inside. I like that the house is raised away from the cold ground.

I got this cat house for the strays that I care for. I like that it was easy to set up and seems pretty durable - I have the house on a covered porch, but it should hold up against the rain and snow that the wind carries in. Some Cons: the heating pad does not have a removable cover, so I change out old blankets and towels when I can. The packaging for shipment could be improved, too. The roof was folded in half for shipment, so it has a permanent crease now, making it difficult to perfectly seal off the roof to the walls for the winter months. This is definitely sturdy enough for my porch, but I wouldn’t trust this house to be set up completely out in the elements.

My sister has two cats that are feral but they come to her. She wanted to keep them warm so she had me order this for her at first they wouldn’t go in but when it got really cold the other night she walks out and they’re in there all snug and warm, and now she says. That they act like they want her to feed them in the house and in the cat house they don’t wanna come out. She is so happy with her purchase.

I like everything about this. The waterproof structure, the heating function, the design. It's awesome. I put treats in there to get the cats to go in because they seem puzzled by it. I think they think it's a trap but we'll see how things go as they gain trust.

A feral tabby who hangs around understood this little house on day one. She has slept in it every night for a month. I change the bedding (not included) every couple days. It rained hard once and kitty stayed in the hut and was dry, apart from some splashback entering the front door. She also uses the emergency exit. Brilliant.
