Preface this with the fact that I received the skin and coat variety not the hip and joint. The ingredient list is impressive, very natural. Many of the ingredients are part of my dogs’ daily diet already. And I can identify and pronounce all the items in the ingredient list, unlike many pet food supplements. My dogs like these chews and eat them happily. The strongest scent I detect is celery. Not sure if the ingredient list differs with the hip and joint variety. The only downside is there is not suggested or recommended dosing on the package. There is no indication on how many a pet should take per weight or size. And it indicates peanut butter flavored but there isn’t any apparent scent of peanut butter and peanut butter is not listed on the ingredient section. So packaging over all is a little confusing.

I ordered the Hip and Joint Supplement and ended up getting the Skin and Coat, which I ended up keeping since as goldens, it would never hurt to have better of either. It took a few days for both of them to get used to the chews. I think the peanut butter flavor was throwing them off. Once they realized this was a "treat" it became much easier. It seems to have alleviated a lot of the ear scratching and paw chewing that they have a tendancy to do. The real test will be in spring, but I'm hoping they have a good build up of the ingredients to alleviate the worst time of year for them. I was spraying salmon oil on their food, this is a nice clean alternative to the oily spray.

I was shocked when she was curious, sniffed, then ate them one by one then asked for more. So in terms of flavor, she loved these! It might be too soon to tell the long term effects of these supplemental chew, but the ingredients are words you’d recognize which definitely makes me feel good about what I give my girl. I’d rather do preventative care with supplements now, instead of nothing for her later in her life.

He’s got a spring in his step when he takes them and seems to love his extra little “snack” everyday. With his size he takes 2 per day, but there is a good amount in the jar so it should last us a few months.
Senior dogs love this product

I love the natural ingredients and they're small and easy to give, but... I have one dog that gobbles them up and another who won't go near them. She turns her nose
