Good all around
My cat has mega allergies, like I’m pretty sure he’s allergic to cats. This has been the only food outside of Hill’s (which is back stocked) that he can eat and not have a reaction to.
Smells like stale oil
My cats wouldn't touch it. Smells like stale old sunflower seeds that have expired. Something is not right. Other Wysong dry foods I have tried smell ok, but not Anergen. Maybe a bad batch?
disappointing
I thought this might be The One... allergen-friendly for sensitive cats AND dogs. Alas, it's not to be. Made both animals puke.
Love the food BUT quality issue
Love the food but I keep getting spoiled bags and I am getting really tired of calling. I feel like it's becoming such an issue that they might be thinking I am lying about the issue because I have to call every single order. I call as I open the bags but the problem is I order so many bags each time that I don't know till I open the next bag and then there is an issue with sending the next bag out.
What's wrong?
I would normally give this a 5 star rating. Max has been happily eating this product for 2 years. We are very pleased with the "end results." However, he refuses to eat the latest bag that was sent to us from Chewy. He "sniffs" and then walks away. The only time he ate it was when I smothered it in parmesan cheese. I "sniffed" also and can detect a chemical small which I never noticed before. I would hate to give this up as we have been very satisfied with the product until now.
Rancid with unusual appearance.
I have always turned to Wysong because of their superior quality but unfortunately the latest bag of Anergen was rancid and visibly off. I would like a refund.
High Hopes dashed !!
I cannot say the cat food is bad and I had high hopes that maybe I could transition Muffin over to this food if she could digest it....She did not do well on it..so have again tried another wet food..so far so good on the new wet food. Thank Chewy for helping me find this food but oh well !
Wanted this to work!
I have 3 cats. One is allergic to all poultry and fish. I've been on the hunt for a high quality food that isn't a small fortune. I had high hopes for this product. Unfortunately, my furbabies wouldn't touch it.
Convenient For Multi Pets
Finally a food for both cats and dogs. My little dog was getting so fat from eating the cats food. Now he can eat as much as he wants. The cats seem to enjoy it also. Finally a food that's healthy for them that they will actually eat. Thank you so much for this product. They even will eat the Vegan flavor.
Smelly Cat Food
We tried Wysong Anergen as an alternate to another brand as the Wysong product reviews indicated this would be a good choice for a cat with skin issues. Unfortunately our cat won't touch it. We mixed it with her usual dry food 50/50, no luck. She won't approach the food bowl now.
