Excellent customer service

My cat Sox eats this more readily than he does the other kind, but I probably won't be able to afford to continue to get it. I'd have to stick with the regular Wysong

Did something change?

Recently my cats decided they no longer want to eat this. They have been eating this food for a long time and they suddenly started to actively avoid it.

My cats were happy to eat a 'starter' portion of this optimal vitality (1tsp) as a treat, seemed ok so I bumped quantity to 1Tbsp following week WHOA really bad tummy upsets from both 'ends'. I did pose a question of what % of the total protein was from pea and potato, since mine haven't been fed those before. I haven't heard an answer yet. Mine eat: Iams hairball, Purina cat chow, Kirkland kibble, friskies pate chick +tuna, poultry platter, salmon. Never had digestive reaction like this, so I think it's the p&p proteins. We are disappointed, as the other ingredients look great!

We have been feeding our cats Wysong for years and years. It is incredibly dense in protein, never causes an issue, their coats are gorgeous and it has helped our oldest cat, Amelia who is turning 10 this year. She used to have very dry skin, her coat was brittle and shedding constantly. Now she has a gorgeous coat and her skin has cleared up immensely. I want to note she had been on several different kinds of cat food before we found one that worked for her that everyone could have. Wysong is fairly pricey, but I feel it is worth it especially this one if you have a cat with fish allergies! Our youngest is incredibly allergic to white fish, and so most foods she cannot have because of the menhaden fish meal. If you can't splurge for Wysong, I recommend American Journey by Chewy as it is also really great from our experiences. For those concerned about chicken meal being the first ingredient, there are disagreements on whether this is better or worse. Having chicken as the first ingredient increases the water volume and lessen the protein percentage. I recommend just doing what is best for your kitty, and remember that if they were to eat "free range" they get more than just the meat. Wysong is a great brand, and are very reputable amongst the small rodent community as well for their high protein low carb availability.
