Why is the first ingredient an unspecified meat. What is this unspecified meat's ingredients? Thank you in advance.

Meat protein isolate, which is named so due to pet food labeling regulations, is derived exclusively from pork meat. It is one of the cleanest and most pure sources of protein available.

About how long would this food last compared to a regular bag of dry food? I am not used to dealing with food of this sort, so I am curious how long this food would last. I have a 3 year old cat by the way.

This formula should be mixed with Wysong Archetype (Chicken, Quail, Rabbit or Pollock formulations), or your own home prepared meats so it should last a while depending on how much protein you're providing.

Can I feed this (mixed with archetype) to my two 8 week old kittens? It's says adult in the info panel, but I don't see why it wouldn't be fine for kittens as most raw type diets are.

Pricy but interesting

I'm giving it to 2 cats and one dog. The "gravy" (mixing with warm water) is a no for the cats, a yes for the dog. I sprinkle the powder on cats' dry food, and mix

I'm giving it to 2 cats and one dog. The "gravy" (mixing with warm water) is a no for the cats, a yes for the dog. I sprinkle the powder on cats' dry food, and mix with home cooked food and/or sprinkle on top for dog. Don't mix with hot water or food as it will kill the probiotics. I'm gratified that they all like it, and that I'm getting more, varied nutrition into them. The ingredient list is solid.

Not for cats!

This cannot be used for felines, as it is formulated for canines. Cats and dogs cannot eat the same food, as cats have higher protein, vitamin and mineral requirement

Way too salty

Not for my Dogs

I bought this trying to save a few bucks to end up actually spending way more money by wasting the product. My dogs hated the food and I hated feeding it to them

I bought this trying to save a few bucks to end up actually spending way more money by wasting the product. My dogs hated the food and I hated feeding it to them. The consistency is close to just powder with some little bits here and there. I personally would not recommend it. I just ended up having to order new food like 3 days later.
