Do you need to separate SD card in order for this to work?

This pet camera does not require a separate SD card. However, for local storage you will need to purchase an SD card separately. If you want to record continuously and store videos locally, a microSD card is necessary. It allows for 24/7 recording directly on the card.

Does this camera use 2 mghz or 5 mghz or both?

A great monitoring camera to see who is coming to your feeding station

This pan camera is awesome for outside use. Our only problem we had was we had to cover the cord connection with a ziplock bag so it wouldn't freeze but otherwise,

This pan camera is awesome for outside use. Our only problem we had was we had to cover the cord connection with a ziplock bag so it wouldn't freeze but otherwise, the camera itself works perfectly. We can monitor the cats coming to my feeding station to ensure all are either someone's indoor/outdoor cats or are TNRed community cats who are fairly healthy not in need of trapping. We also can use it to monitor the birds who feed from my bird feeders while keeping an eye out for those lovely Chewy packages. You can't go wrong with Wyze.

I bought this little camera over a year ago to monitor my handicapped cat while at work. He has since passed but now I use it between work and home to monitor my office cats' feeding station and elderly house cat. It has been a godsend and the performance cannot be beat for the price. The clarity is 100% and night vision is amazingly good even in complete darkness. I do not use or need the payment plan they offer for streaming. I can just bring it up on my phone and monitor live-feed any time I need. 100% recommend. I will probably buy another one soon so I don't have to tote this one back & forth. I will be trying it out in the rain soon to see how well it holds up in inclement weather & update.

Worked perfectly for 3 weeks

I liked being able to see my pet when I was away from home. It follows movement. It quit following movement at 3 weeks. Unit feels unsteady on its feet. Great company

Wish I could return them. I programmed the range for where they should record and all they want to do is record the wall.. waste of money. Also reconnecting is a pain in the butt.. I say find another product. Oh and chewy is nearly impossible for returns. You have to stay on them even after a month of waiting. I still had to stay on them. No excuse for that.
