The SD card is a must have for Wyze cams. Works with 5G with an eero router. I have 2 other popular brand security cameras and the Wyze surpasses them by 100%. You can record in real time and go back minute by minute to view, no paid subscription required. I have 3 Wyze cams in my dog den to monitor them 24/7. I also have 4 other Wyze cams viewing the outside of my home, 3 in windows (Wyze shade required) and one outside with the solar panel. I highly recommend the Wyze SD as without it you cannot view what was recorded, you'll only be able to see live views.

I purchased this card for use in my Wyze OG camera. I was having an issue with the camera recognizing the card so I went to the wyze website for troubleshooting

I purchased this card for use in my Wyze OG camera. I was having an issue with the camera recognizing the card so I went to the wyze website for troubleshooting support only to discover that the card needs to be formatted. Unfortunately I am having trouble formatting the card through the app and I don't have an adapter to do it on my laptop. The description doesn't mention anything about needing to format the card (had I known I probably wouldn't have bought it) so I assumed it would be ready to go straight out of the package. Additionally, it's worth noting that the 128GB card costs $5 less on the wyze website. At the time of this review my issue remains unresolved.
