This cage is exactly as advertised. That being said there is a minute design flaw; the large cage door with the hook latch will come undone if your bird crawls on

Tall Bird Cage
This is a tall bird cage with lots of room for even smaller birds to fly within, we are using it for a Male Cockatiel, which we add many toys to play at different

The only issues was with assy the different levels, just note the Tabs work best if bent over to hold each cage part together, and all the doors facing the front - don't fight it, or have a friend with good hands put it together
Would Not Keep If I Did Not Have To!
I needed a lightweight cage for my 2 parakeets while we visit out of town. Their travel cage is too small for the 3 week stay, and nothing would be like their spacious
I needed a lightweight cage for my 2 parakeets while we visit out of town. Their travel cage is too small for the 3 week stay, and nothing would be like their spacious home opened daily for flight, but this one seemed acceptable for the price. Problem is it cannot be assembled as made! It's 2 cages exactly the same size, one sits atop the other, but the hooks meant to fasten them together are wrong. Either they or the cage side pieces need to be longer to meet properly. Yes it is assembled correctly, there is no possibility of error. Too late to find another cage so I have to keep this one - I ended up fastening the top to the bottom with tie wires. I returned a large metal Yaheetech flight cage a few years ago, so it seems this company has problems!

We ordered this to take care of our sons cockatiel for several months. The bird is very happy in the cage and is very comfortable. The perches that come with it are trash and should never be included with the cage. A wood dowel is the worst perch for a bird and could lead to injury of the birds feet. So throw them in the wood stove or fireplace. Buy some natural branch perches. The food and water dishes are plastic but very easy to get in and out of the cage. The bird does not chew on or pick at either so they are fine. I would prefer stainless steel but for a few months these are fine.

Beautiful color. Absolutely love the cage and the great quality. My parakeet and lovebird both have their own cage now.
