Our parrot had a similar style cage but it was much larger, it couldn’t be moved unless the skirt was removed , it was a pain to take off . It wouldn’t fit though the doorway with be the skirt on. She never was locked in except at night so it didn’t need to be so big . Plus she spent most of the time in the open area. This is powder coated vs the painted older one . It is much easier to keep clean , plus it can be rolled around the house . It rolls easily and Ozzie can enjoy the window view or be by the wood stove when it’s really cold outside. It came with 4 stainless bowls and a rope toy . There's two little doors for the inside bowls and the other two bowls go on top in the open area . The cage has a wooden perch on top that’s easier on her feet . There’s a drawer on top and one on the bottom to keep it clean . It has a powder coated skirt . The door opens like a door vs the trapdoor style of the old cage . Keeps the area cleaner , poop stays in the cage. It needs to be assembled but it was not difficult to put together . I’m very happy with it so far . It seems well made and our bird took to it straight away, much to our surprise . It wasn’t terribly expensive either. It was delivered in 2 days, I love ordering from Chewy !

I think this cage is great for a small bird; I have a love bird. The cage itself is great for the the price. However, there are little defects here and there. There were also some dents on some areas of the metal. But, nothing too noticeable. Overall, I do recommend this cage.
