Only made out of cardboard and staples. Initially it appears sturdy though as the cats keep climbing and jumping up and down, things start to wobble and you'll quickly realize that all you do is screw together a few plastic cups that are wrapped with cardboard that stapled on. So as soon as you thighten things the 2nd or 3rd time, you'll see there's no tightening anymore. Staples start becoming lose and wripping out the cardboard. Just a bit of thinker cardboard then kitchen towel rolls wrapped in fabric and stapled together. Have no expectations of lasting you a year.

My husband assembled this cat tree/tower for our two cats and so far they’ve used it daily for months now. They truly love it and enjoy running and jumping on & off of it as well as napping and lounging. The multiple levels and variety of activities from the hanging Rope, the hammock, the scratch posts and two upper level beds are constantly put to good use by both of the cats.

Cat loves looking down on us

The upper areas are a little wobbly when my cat jumps up/down on them, but she loves looking down from her tower.

Cheaply Made

We only had the tree put together one week and our cat, which weighs at most about 8 pounds, manages to break both of the top posts the beds were on. At closer examination

Not for heavier, active cats.

If you have a cat (1/2 Maine Coon, 1/2 domestic longhair) that has characteristics that make him heavier; a larger, core, you get what you paid for. Unfortunately

If you have a cat (1/2 Maine Coon, 1/2 domestic longhair) that has characteristics that make him heavier; a larger, core, you get what you paid for. Unfortunately this economical cat tree is not as sturdy as others. The towers are hollow with minimal support and can’t take a cat jumping off or on; especially if they climb from the bottom. If you have a dainty cat, that isn’t active, this less-expensive tree is for you. My towers became wobbly and toppled over. I tried to reinforce with dowels but the quality of the base of the inside of the towers wouldn’t allow for any modifications. I did remove the top tower and placed it where the other broke just to still be able to use it until it goes in the trash. Wobbles just as much. Will break soon.

Cheaply made

One of the perch started to lean a few months in and ultimately broken off after 6 months. The other perch is also leaning and likely going to break soon. Do not

Not for big cats only kittens

This thing is cheap and broke really fast Should be titled kitten tower so people don’t buy it for their big cats
