Does not stay up! I had 1 previously that used spring-action to stay up. Now it's a huge plastic piece and a large metal screw. Falls down EVERY time cats try to climb it! Had to undo and throw in the trash because they will not refund your money unless you pay for shipping which is over one hundred dollars!
