Yak9 Chews Yak Milk Chew Dog Treats, 3 count, Medium

I used to have to go to the dentist. Now I dont ! I just chew my Yak milk bone instead ! I like this one because it has 0 additives ! No salt, no cow milk. My tummy likes it !!! I sleep w/ my yak bone under my paw so no one can take it !

I had never heard of yak chews before so I decided to give these a try. I bought some of the regular and also some of the "honey" flavor. Between the two of them I would say that both of my dogs prefer the regular. (Regular has a bit of a smoked smell and Honey does not) They liked both but they went bananas over the regular kind. I had to give them each one and separate them so they could both chew in peace. I bought the medium size and at first glance I thought they were going to be too big but they managed to chew on them just fine. They are oddly shaped, mostly similar to the thickness of a hockey puck and length and width of an older TV remote. Some of the chews do tend to break in shipping so you may end up with a couple smaller pieces. They are not uniform either so in a bag of 4 all of mine were all slightly different. I found lots of small crumbs left behind from long periods of chewing so that is a bit annoying but I did not see any of the "smoked" residue coming off on carpet or furniture. I let my dogs work on these most of an entire day but then ended up taking them away before bedtime just to give their brains and jaws a break. Overall they do seem to be great chews and they certainly last longer then bully sticks. The bag that these ship in is very cute but seems a bit silly.. I guess for the price you'd expect "good" packaging. I gave the bags to my kids to put toys in.

One of these chews was already broken into at least 3 pieces when it arrived. My collie chips away at these medium chews within 30 minutes. The treats are too expensive for the short chew time they provide.
