The YIP Smart Tag can only pair with one phone at a time.

The tag offers worldwide coverage, as it communicates with millions of Samsung Galaxy phones. If your are within range of the smart tag (approximately 300 feet), Your tag will show as "connected" in the SmartThings app. If your smart tag in not in range of your Samsung Galaxy phone, the tag will go into extended range mode and begin looking for other Galaxy phones to communicate with. As soon as your tag comes within 300 feet of another Galaxy phone, the location of your smart tag will update on your Galaxy phone, in the SmartThings app.

Don't but if you need to actually track your pet.

We bought these to track if our huskies got out due to woods behind our house. They are completely useless for actually tracking. They have to be in range of a Samsung

We bought these to track if our huskies got out due to woods behind our house. They are completely useless for actually tracking. They have to be in range of a Samsung device to actually be tracked. Wasted money and useless purchase unless you just looking to see your pet sitting in the other room in the house.

Not as advertised. Don't buy this.

The description didn't say that your pet had to be in range of another person who might happen to have a Samsung Galaxy AND have the app installed on their phone

The description didn't say that your pet had to be in range of another person who might happen to have a Samsung Galaxy AND have the app installed on their phone. The only thing this is good for is finding your pet if it is inside your house. Wasted 35 bucks.

YIP Smart Tracker tag is NOT a GPS locator tagel. The YIP Smart Tracker Tag is misrepresenting itself. The tag ONLY works with your devices Bluetooth connection

YIP Smart Tracker tag is NOT a GPS locator tagel. The YIP Smart Tracker Tag is misrepresenting itself. The tag ONLY works with your devices Bluetooth connection. Once the tag is beyond your devices Bluetooth range, example 30' or less, it stops working. You are not able to reach a LIVE customer service agent, only through texting and NO Refunds.

A dog tag with dog information that also tracker his location

This is the best of both worlds. The info is there if the dog is by someone found and transmitted location available to find the dogs location for the owner

Easy set up.

You can pick the sound it makes and train your pet to do certain things to the sound. Also I use it as a kid key chain for peace of mind.
