Dangerous for cats

The design of this tree is dangerous for cats. There are clasps that attach the hammock that my cat got her toe stuck in. This resulted in an $800 trip to the emergency

The design of this tree is dangerous for cats. There are clasps that attach the hammock that my cat got her toe stuck in. This resulted in an $800 trip to the emergency vet when she was stuck and hanging from her paw. The tree seems stable- but the design is dangerous.

The biggest issue I've had so far is the color. Other than the size the main reason I got this specific tree is because it's listed as BLACK and it's definitely NOT black. It's a lot lighter in person than it's is in the original listing photos. It's more of a charcoal gray. Still nice, but if you're looking for BLACK I wouldn't recommend this tree. The tree did came well packaged with very easy to understand instructions and the parts are all labeled well! I do recommend having more than one person to put it together! It wasn't the easiest to build solo. The tree is decently sized but has a smaller footprint so it's great if you have large or multiple fur babies but don't want it taking up your whole living room. My boy is 16lbs. Not obese he's just huge and my lil girl is approx. 6lbs. and they both have plenty of room! Because it is so tall it is wobbly. Anchoring hardware is included but requires power tools and drilling into the wall. So keep that in mind if you're renting. I haven't had it long enough to touch on how well it holds up but so far so good!

It’s a lot bigger taller than I thought it would be. If you’re on the shorter side I would recommend a step stool or tipping it over to finish putting together the bits on the top. The hides are bigger than the last cat tree I bought. I initially thought my cat didn’t like going in them but it turns out she just didn’t want to squeeze inside the smaller ones but she loves these bigger ones! It’s very sturdy and easy to put together! Overall very good quality for a good price!
