It does not have a solid bottom.

We have a very small puppy and it was too small for him. I had to put a towel or blanket in the bottom of it because it doesn't have a solid bottom and there wasn't

Perfect for my companion pigeon

The 30" is a perfect fit for my companion pigeon (Pearl, COF satinette). She was rehomed to us in a very tall ferret cage that wasn't really appropriate for a pigeon

The 30" is a perfect fit for my companion pigeon (Pearl, COF satinette). She was rehomed to us in a very tall ferret cage that wasn't really appropriate for a pigeon - too much height (pigeons are ground/ledge birds and they do not climb like a parrot) and I didn't like that she could go all the way to the floor in reach of the cat. This cage affords her the same amount of usable space and I am able to put it up on top of a tall cabinet so that if the cat gets into the room she isn't in reach. Note that the floor of the cage is wire with a tray underneath. This is what I wanted for Pearl but not sure if it would be suitable for rabbits or guinea pigs without something to cover the wire.

The crate seems to be fairly sturdy but I am disappointed in two things: 1. the handle is not on the top for carrying while the crate is open. 2. The plastic tray

The crate seems to be fairly sturdy but I am disappointed in two things: 1. the handle is not on the top for carrying while the crate is open. 2. The plastic tray fits under the bottom metal bars so my cat has nothing comfortable to sit on. I cut cardboard to put inside under her blanket so her feet won't slip through the openings. I bought this to use as a small catio so my indoor kitty can safely enjoy some outdoor time in the sun.
