Love this smaller sized bag as a healthy treat and topper! Hope Chewy starts carrying their larger 3.5 lb bags soon.
I'm a constant researcher for the best life for my pups e.g., anything to help them live longer, happier and healthier. I've been doing this for approx. ten years. It began when my pup has ear infections constantly, so bad they would bleed. I switched her to a raw diet, freeze dried or air dried, and the infections cleared up nearly overnight. The ingredients in this food hit nearly all the major points for extended health. Happy to find it but, here's the kicker, not one of my three dogs will eat it. Why? I cannot say. I will say I would recommend this food if asked but I wish I had had a sampler bag in the beginning.
Biggest issue I have had with Niko is he hoovers his food. He won’t chew kibble at all, but when it comes to treats he does. He is also in need of losing a couple lbs. Bought this stuff as I was ordering an omega supplement for his paw licking - potential allergy. I mixed 6 pieces of this kibble with about 1/8c of his food (for about a total of just over 1/4c) and he actually started chewing his food (including some of his normal kibble!). Mind you I also broke up the pieces (they are fairly large). Just ordered another bag from the mfg site as chewy was out of the beef flavor. I’m excited to incorporate this into his feeding routine. I probably won’t transition him 100% simply because this stuff is SO EXPENSIVE! but it will be a good supplement to his meals and looking forward to health/weight improvements. I am a frenchie owner, so if you have problems with speed of eating (slow feeders have not worked for us!), I would give this a try!
Tara loves her new yumwoof dog food. I use it as a kibble topper and she picks it out! I wish I could afford to feed this to her as her food, but she is a big girl and the cost is prohibitive.
this is not a kibble, i use it as a treat and the doggies luv it. it's a way expensive treat but it's not too bad spanning it out as a treat, not a meal. has great ingredients, very soft (4 the older pups), and no problems in the tummy.
My dog loves it, I wish you carry the bigger size.
Only the good stuff - check out the ingredients - good healthy product - transports easily - even as a snack works well.
My German Shepherd has Leaky Gut - We put his liquid medicine on these soft bites & he ' yums ' them right down !!! Did I mention it is RARE that he chooses to eat new treats ? WIN - WIN !!!
