Scooby is very picky when it comes to dog food. We rotate feeding him wet canned food and refrigerated food, so it’s nice to have a few choice brands we can rely on. Scooby ate the Zealandia Adult Grain Free Beef Pate and loved it! This food is geared towards smaller breed dogs, Scooby is a Doberman, so he’s got a bigger appetite (we fed him 4 cans at mealtime) but what’s important is he loved the food. It might be a bit more expensive to feed him this brand, but we will keep this brand on our favorites list, so we will always have food on hand that Scooby likes.

Oh my gosh, this yummy food is a MAJOR hit at our house!!! My 15 yr old chihuahua has become a super picky eater and I struggle with keeping him happy and eating. He thinks this is very best food he has ever eaten, at each meal, for several days now !! Total winner! I think his sense of smell is declining and that affects what he wants to eat. This food smells good, even to me. My 9 yr old chiweenie thinks this is the best food she’s ever had! And the 11 month old corgi can’t get enough. They all ask for more! I’m incredibly impressed with the quality of the ingredients and I feel really good feeding my fur babies something so good for them and something they really like. They’ve been enjoying the beef and I think we’ll try some of the other flavors too!

This food is quite good. It’s primarily all meat. I noticed, at least most of the flavors have lamb and lamb organ in them. If your dog doesn’t agree with lamb, it may limit you from using this. The quality of pate is very good, it isn’t fatty, loose or jelly like, as some of the higher in water/plant matter ones can be. This is almost crumbly when I add it to my dogs dry kibble. You can see that it’s meat. My picky dog really likes it, and I don’t feel bad giving it to her as a topper since it’s high quality. I’d say wean your dog on slowly, especially if you use it as the full diet because it is more rich.

We have 2 rescues from the same liter. They are said to be Pug/Shih Tzu mix. Both have different preferences and likes/dislikes when it comes to eating. I wanted to feed them daily for 2-3 weeks before I left a review. Vixon(the bigger) normally likes wet dog food. She had mixed reactions with Zealandia canned food. The first day, she sniffed the air hard and took off to eat her portion. Every subsequent day she was less impressed. I tried missing their dry food in, topping with treats…..she wouldn’t rush and eventually eat it. Rosebud isn’t the biggest fan of wet/canned dog food, I figured this could go either way. I tried feeding her with a fork, she ate a half a fork worth and walked away. I put the rest in a dish and set it down for her. She did end up eating about 1/3 of her portion. As the days went by, she would wait longer and longer before she would finally eat. I tried mixing with dry dog food, topping with snacks to entice her to eat. The results, she still didn’t get excited about the food. I honestly cannot either recommend or not recommend Zealandia canned dog food. I would recommend if your dog likes canned dog food, buy a can or two and give it a try. If they enjoy, then purchase the case.

In any event, I appreciated that it looked nutritious, grain free, and did not have a nasty odor. I know many folks prefer to order chicken at time for their pets, but I have found That my guys seem to prefer beef. I tried to provide both at different times. I had never heard of this product but would purchase it In the future.

My 2 year old mixed breed rescue dog eats dry food at meal time. She loves this beef pate as a special treat each evening, either on her lick mat or frozen in a toy. She finds it so yummy it was difficult to get a photo before she ate it all! Best of all, it does not upset her tummy like some other wet dog foods have in the past.

Often they would talk to me (doggie talk of course) while I prepare their diner. Titan has a very sensitive stomach and had no issues with Zealandia. I would highly recommend this product.

I added this to my dogs bowls for the first time and they absolutely loved it. All 3 of them looked at me to see if i was going to give them more. I gave them each

I added this to my dogs bowls for the first time and they absolutely loved it. All 3 of them looked at me to see if i was going to give them more. I gave them each 1/3 of the can just to ensure it wouldn’t upset their tummies. They scarfed it down and my oldest dog has a tooth that’s bothering her so this will be a much needed food for her specifically. It didn’t smell as bad as other wet foods I’ve opened before, it was pretty easy to get out of the container. I’m excited to see if this will keep my dogs more full for longer so they let me sleep in.
